We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up your daughter’s struggle with food intolerance. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every breath we take. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to restore her body completely.
Lord, we ask that You would touch her digestive system with Your healing hand. Where there is inflammation, bring soothing relief. Where there is dysfunction, bring restoration. Where there is pain, bring comfort. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for it is written in Matthew 8:17 that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our diseases. We claim that truth over her life right now.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for her parents as they navigate her care. Give them discernment in her diet, patience in the process, and faith that does not waver. Remind them that You are working all things together for good, even when the path is difficult. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You love their daughter even more than they do.
We also want to gently encourage you to examine whether there may be any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in her life or your family’s life that could be hindering her healing. James 5:16 says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Healing is often tied to our obedience and alignment with God’s will.
Lastly, we want to remind you that all healing—physical, emotional, or spiritual—comes through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you or your daughter have not yet surrendered your lives to Him, we urge you to do so today. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again so that we could have eternal life and abundant life here on earth. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for Your love and Your power to heal. We declare that Your Word is true, and we claim healing for this precious daughter. We break every chain of sickness, intolerance, and discomfort in her body. We speak life and restoration to every cell, organ, and system that is not functioning as You designed.
Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her parents strength and faith to stand firm on Your promises. Help them to walk in obedience and to trust You even when they cannot see the outcome. We declare that this food intolerance is broken now by the blood of Jesus and that she is completely healed.
We also pray for salvation if it is needed. Draw her and her family close to You, Lord. Open their eyes to see Your love and Your truth. May they surrender their lives to Jesus and experience the fullness of life that only He can give.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on her behalf. We trust You and give You all the glory. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
