We lift up your son before the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for His children and desires to renew their strength. The weariness your son is experiencing is not unseen by God, who invites all who are heavy-laden to come to Him for rest. As it is written in **Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)**, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."*
We also recall the promise in **Isaiah 40:29-31 (WEB)**, which assures us that *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Let us claim this promise over your son, trusting that the Lord will restore his energy and fill him with supernatural endurance.
Yet we must also consider whether this exhaustion is physical, emotional, or spiritual—or perhaps a combination of these. If it is physical, we pray for the Lord’s healing touch upon his body, that every cell and system would be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit. If it is emotional, we ask the Lord to lift every burden, anxiety, or stress that weighs upon his heart, replacing it with the peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). If it is spiritual, we pray that your son would draw near to God, who promises to draw near to him (**James 4:8**), and that he would be filled afresh with the joy of the Lord, which is his strength (**Nehemiah 8:10**).
We also encourage you, as his parent, to speak life and scripture over him, reminding him of God’s promises and covering him in prayer. Let him know that this season of weariness is temporary, but the Lord’s strength is everlasting. Encourage him to rest in the Lord, to cast his cares upon Him, and to seek refreshment in God’s Word and presence.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son who is feeling exhausted today. Lord, You know the depths of his weariness—whether it is of body, soul, or spirit—and we ask that You would touch him with Your healing power. Renew his strength, Lord, as only You can do. Fill him with Your energy, Your peace, and Your joy. Let him feel Your presence surrounding him like a garment, lifting him up on eagle’s wings so that he may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint.
We rebuke every spirit of fatigue, discouragement, or oppression that may be attacking him, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Lord, if there is any underlying cause—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—reveal it to him and provide the wisdom and resources he needs to overcome it. May he find rest in You, Jesus, and may this season of exhaustion become a testimony of Your faithfulness and restoration.
We also pray that You would give his mother (or parents) the right words to speak over him, words of life and encouragement that align with Your truth. Strengthen their faith as they intercede for him, knowing that You hear and answer prayer.
Thank You, Lord, for Your promise that when we are weak, You are strong (**2 Corinthians 12:10**). We trust You to be his strength today and always. We ask all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
