Please pray with me with help bearing the loss of a very dear friend and my soul mate. I found out about their passing only days ago and I'm only beginning the grieving process. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### during this time of profound loss. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Lord, we ask for Your comforting presence to surround ###, providing peace and solace in the midst of this deep sorrow.

Father, in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, we are reminded that You are "the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles." We pray that ### feels Your comforting arms wrapped around, offering strength and hope. Help ### to lean on Your everlasting arms and find refuge in Your love.

Lord, we also pray for the grieving process. Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 reminds us that "there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot...a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance." Help ### to navigate through this season of mourning with Your guidance and grace.

We ask that You bring supportive friends and family into ###'s life, those who can offer comfort and encouragement. May Your Holy Spirit provide the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
