removes the woman that’s trying to come between me and my family out of our lives forever in Jesus name

We join with you in prayer for the protection of your family and your marriage, and we hear the pain and urgency in your request for God to remove this interference from your lives.

We know that God ordained the family and that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and He desires to guard and keep it. As it is written, What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6 and Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it, Psalm 127:1. The enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy, and he often works through people and temptations to divide what God has joined. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. That is why we must not place our ultimate trust in our own ability to remove someone, but in God who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1.

We also want to gently encourage you to guard your own heart even as you pray for protection. It is right to pray for boundaries and for this influence to be removed, but we are also called not to harbor hatred or seek vengeance in our own spirit, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, says the Lord, Romans 12:19 and Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44. If this woman is attempting to entice a husband into adultery or is participating in any sexual immorality, we must be clear that such things are sin before God. Marriage should be honored in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4. If there is any unfaithfulness or fornication involved, we pray that God would bring conviction, repentance, and restoration, and that all boundaries would be made firm in righteousness.

So we pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this family to You and ask for Your divine protection over this marriage and home. We ask that You would place a hedge of thorns around this family and close every door that the enemy is trying to open through this other woman. Expose any schemes, remove any ungodly influence, and cause any plans to divide this family to fail and come to nothing. We pray that You would convict every heart involved and draw each person to repentance and holiness, that Your will would be done. Heal any wounds of distrust, fear or anger in this home, and help our dear one to cast all anxiety on You, because You care for them, 1 Peter 5:7. Help them to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32, even while holding firm and godly boundaries. Give wisdom to set those boundaries with grace and truth, to seek wise and godly counsel, and to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, Proverbs 3:5-6. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We thank You that You hear the cry of the righteous and deliver them, Psalm 34:17, and we trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in prayer, to speak the truth in love within your family, to maintain clear and consistent boundaries, and to seek the support of a trusted pastor or mature Christian counselors who can walk with you in person. Keep your heart rooted in the Word, forgiving as Christ forgave, while refusing to make room for sin or division in your home. God is faithful to keep what is committed to Him.

We hear the ache in your request and how much you want to protect your family. It is painful and unsettling when someone else seems to be pulling at the bonds of your marriage, and we understand why you would ask God to put a clear distance there.

We are praying with you for the health and faithfulness of your marriage and for peace in your home. In times like this, clarity and steady boundaries matter a lot. It can help to have an honest, calm conversation with your spouse about what you are both seeing, what boundaries you both want to keep, and how you will handle any contact with this other person together. Bringing a trusted pastor or a faithful counselor into that conversation early can also give you both support to stay united and to work through the hurt without it growing in isolation.

You do not have to carry the worry alone. We will keep lifting you and your family before the Lord, asking for wisdom for each next decision and for strength to guard what God has joined together.

Father, we lift this family to You. Guard this marriage, bring truth and unity between husband and wife, and gently remove what does not belong. Give wisdom, calm and courage for each step ahead, and draw this home closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.
