We join with you in bringing all of these heavy burdens before our Father in heaven in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for calling upon His authority, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other name by which we have access to God. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We rejoice that you know this truth and we stand with you for the salvation of your household.
We lift up your three daughters before the Lord. We pray for their salvation, that each one would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior while they are young. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that God would draw their hearts, that you as their father would be given wisdom to train them in the way they should go Proverbs 22:6, and that He would protect them in these difficult teenage years. We ask God to surround them with godly influence and to keep them from the snares of this world.
We also bring your financial situation, your lack of transportation, the high rent, and the need for food and provision before the Lord. We know what a nightmare it is to try to raise teenage daughters without transportation and with resources running low, and we pray that God who sees your struggle will provide. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray that He would open doors for work, for provision, for food, and for affordable housing, and that He would restore what has been stolen from you, including your car and the financial losses you have suffered. The Lord loves justice Psalm 37:28 and we pray that if it is His will, the car would be recovered and that He would bring compensation and restoration as only He can, for He promises I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. We encourage you to continue to seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, and to seek help also from your local body of believers who are called to bear one anothers burdens Galatians 6:2.
We hear your long prayer for a godly wife, a loving and beautiful woman, and we affirm your desire for marriage as God designed it. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God ordained, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24. It is good that you are seeking a godly wife and not simply a partner or a relationship outside of marriage. Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We pray that God in His perfect timing will bring you a wife who is a believer in Jesus Christ, for we must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. We encourage you while you wait to pursue purity and to enter courtship with the goal of marriage to a Christian believer, keeping yourself from fornication, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4, and charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Proverbs 31:30. Trust that Gods timing is perfect even when the wait is long.
We pray also for the loved ones you have lost along the way, those who have died or gone another path, and we ask the Lord to bring comfort to your heart where there is grief. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray for your ex wife for her salvation, that she too would come to know Jesus Christ and be saved, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4.
We lift up your mother in her advanced age and her great burden caring for your adult brother who has brain damage. We pray for her strength, for provision, and for wisdom in seeking a proper home for him where he can be cared for safely. We know she can no longer care for him financially or physically, and we ask God to honor her faithfulness. Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs will I carry you Isaiah 46:4. We pray that God would provide resources and open doors for a godly and safe place for your brother, and that He would sustain your mother and give her rest, for Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.
Father in heaven, we bring this brother and his three daughters before You in the name of Jesus Christ. Save these daughters, draw each one to Yourself and let them confess Jesus as Lord. Provide for this family daily bread, transportation, affordable housing, and food on the table. Restore the stolen car if it is Your will and repay what has been lost. Comfort this father in the loss of loved ones and give him hope. Save his ex wife and show her Your mercy. Provide for his elderly mother and his brother, make a way for a safe home and for financial and physical help, and give them peace. And in Your perfect time, bring this brother a godly wife who loves You, that they may enter a holy marriage that honors You. Give him wisdom, patience, and strength to lead his daughters well while he waits. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
