We hear your cry for protection, and we stand with you in lifting this need before our Heavenly Father. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take comfort in knowing that He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5), and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper when we are in His care (Isaiah 54:17).
However, we must also address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are covered and protected. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. We ask that You dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we pray that You would be a fortress and a refuge for them in times of trouble. Hide them in the shadow of Your wings, where no harm can reach them (Psalm 91:1-4). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and danger in the name of Jesus, and we command every evil plan against them to be thwarted and brought to nothing.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). May they find their security and identity in You alone.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may walk in Your ways and avoid the snares of the enemy. Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your light illuminate their path (Psalm 119:105). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your protector and deliverer. Memorize and meditate on scriptures that speak of God’s protection, such as Psalm 91, and declare them over your life daily. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Stay close to God through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). You are not alone, and God is faithful to watch over you.
