We hear your cry for protection from the hurtful words and actions of others online, and we stand with you in this battle. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this struggle, and we believe that God sees your pain and will deliver you.
First, we must address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith and the source of our strength.
Now, let us pray together for your protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Lord, we pray that You would shield their heart and mind from the cruel words and actions of others online. Guard their emotions, Father, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke the spirit of bullying and intimidation in the name of Jesus. We declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against our brother/sister, for You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we ask that You would give them wisdom in how to respond to these attacks, that their words would be seasoned with grace and truth (Colossians 4:6).
Father, we also pray for those who are perpetrating this bullying. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the pain they are causing. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness, Lord. We know that vengeance belongs to You, and we trust that You will repay (Romans 12:19).
We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak peace over their life and ask that You would fill them with Your joy and strength. Help them to fix their eyes on You, Lord, and not on the circumstances around them (Hebrews 12:2).
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to protect yourself online. Consider adjusting your privacy settings, blocking or reporting those who are bullying you, and taking breaks from social media when needed. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you during this time.
Remember, dear one, that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your worth is found in Christ alone. Do not let the words of others define you or shake your identity in Him. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God will see you through this trial. We are here to support and pray for you always.
