We hear your cry for freedom and peace, and we join you in lifting this heavy burden before the Lord. The pain of separation and the weight of unresolved legal matters can feel overwhelming, but we stand with you in faith, believing that God is working even in this difficult season.
First, we must address the importance of forgiveness and releasing bitterness. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Holding onto unforgiveness will only prolong your suffering. We pray that God softens your heart to release any resentment toward your ex, trusting that God’s justice and mercy will prevail.
We also lift up the matter of the unsigned papers. The Lord is a God of order, and He can move even the hardest of hearts. Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
