Oh, Lord God,
For you love all your creatures, great and small, and you have blessed this child of yours with one of them. I pray, Lord, that you heal their pup, this little creature that you blessed your child with, and who in return loves their animal unconditionally. Oh, Lord, I pray that you give this pup healing, comfort, ease of pain, and rest from all ailments it has suffered through. For you, Lord, say: "A righteous man regards the life of his animal..." (Proverbs 12:10) and this child of yours is doing just that with all love and strength. Have mercy, oh, Lord. And with thanksgiving, we praise your name and your Son forever!
