I would like to share whenever I prayed for others my healing moved on.
At the same time my praying for my healing made me selfish in my relationship with God. Not caring enough for my husband and family in this time, who I could have brought to Christ by not being so selfish with God, simply by doing lots of things for them. Showing strength and trust in God.

Lord Jesus Christ please bring healing to Brother in Christ. Please put Your right-hand on him and bring healing to him and please let him clearly see the purpose you have for him. Please give him a family which is also in Christ all this for Your glory.

It's funny you hit on something I firmly believe in. I seldom pray for myself. I've been on this site for four years and I concentrate on the members and their respective countries, almost daily.
I thank everyone who answered my prayers that I submitted for others. I'm not special just grateful.
People need to understand gratitude and thanksgiving. Let me share.
Once in a while I will ask for prayers. Bladder cancer struck me 4 1/2 years ago and it was dealt with, praise God! However the wound that the surgery created will not fully heal, leaving me at times, in great pain. It flares up once in a while. I been suffering now and then for the last 4 years. Not too many people knew this because I did not share.I continued with business as usual. My family to this day, has no clue of the complications from the surgery. Am I prideful by not telling people? No. I will ask for prayers to keep me humble and to receive HIS blessings.

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.
Prayers from others are uplifting and soothing.
