We join you in prayer and agreement for complete deliverance and victory in Jesus Christ over every work, scheme, and influence of the devil and Satan in your life from the past to the future. It is right to seek the Lord for this, for our battle is spiritual and our hope is in Christ alone who has already overcome the enemy.

The scripture assures us of what you are praying for, that the Son of God came for this very purpose. 1 John 3:8 says He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. We also take comfort that in Christ we have authority and protection, as Jesus said in Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. And we are called to stand firm, for Ephesians 6:11-12 reminds us to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We want to encourage you that God has given us the call to resist the devil in the name of Jesus, and He promises the enemy will flee as we submit ourselves to God. James 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And 1 Peter 5:8-9 says Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. The complete and final binding and silencing of Satan forever is the Lord's final work at the end of this age, when Revelation 20:10 says The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Until that day we walk in daily victory by abiding in Christ, confessing sin, obeying His word, putting on His armor, and praying without ceasing. The enemy's mouth is silenced not by our strength but by the blood of the Lamb and the truth of God's word living in us.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your throne. We thank You that Jesus has already disarmed the powers of darkness at the cross and has been given all authority in heaven and on earth. We ask in Jesus name that You destroy and put an end to every work of the devil and Satan against this dear one, whether direct, indirect, or through any connection or influence whatsoever. We ask that You silence the mouth of the accuser and halt every plan and scheme formed against them. We pray that You wash away and remove every effect of the enemy's work from the past and block every assignment for the future, and that You cover them with the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to walk in submission to You, to resist the devil steadfastly in faith, and to stand clothed in the whole armor of God with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your word. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let Christ be magnified in their life as they walk in holiness, obedience, and trust in You. We claim Your victory and Your peace over them today, and we look forward to the day when You will cast the enemy away forever. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We heard the deep longing in your prayer for Jesus to have the final word over every work of the enemy in your life, from the past all the way into the future. Wanting Him to shut down those plans and quiet that influence makes sense, and we are standing with you in that desire for His peace to rest over you.

We find it helps to keep our eyes more on Christ Himself than on tracking what the enemy might be doing. There is real comfort in remembering that our safety is in staying close to Him day by day, not in watching for every possible attack. That steady closeness grows slowly, like training over time, through simple faithfulness.

One thing that has helped many is to walk this out with others rather than alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you know, consider sharing this burden with them regularly for prayer and encouragement, and staying rooted in fellowship and in time with the Lord as you are able.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. Cover them with Your presence, quiet fear and torment, and lead them into Your freedom and wisdom. Help them to rest in Christ's finished work and to know Your nearness each day. Guide their steps and keep them in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for deliverance touches the very heart of the gospel, for our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed bruised the head of the serpent and spoiled the power of darkness.

We are taught in Scripture that He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that God in His grace says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in the precious blood of His own Son. That ransom is the ground of all our hope against Satan, who is the prince of the power of the air and the great adversary who shoots fiery darts at the people of God. Yet not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, and the seed of the woman has bruised his head forever. We walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus.

We join with you now and pray to our heavenly Father, to whom alone we must look for deliverance both from the guilt and from the power of sin.

O gracious Father, who sits as a Refiner by the furnace and who fills both the bitter cup and the sweet goblet according to Thy wisdom and love, we thank Thee that Thou hast provided a ransom and hast given commandment to save. We plead that ransom for this soul who cries to Thee. Deliver from going down to the Pit, and keep back this life from perishing. Let the power of the blood of Christ silence the mouth of the accuser, and halt every plan and device of the evil one, whether direct or indirect, and whatever connection or influence he would seek to use.

Lord Jesus, Thou hast conquered Satan and seen him fall like lightning from heaven. We pray that Thou wouldst manifest that victory in this life, binding the strong man and rendering his works of no effect, and keeping this one from sin, from evil company, from despair and from the assaults of hell. Let not the fiery darts prevail, but quench them by Thy grace and by Thy Spirit. Grant a heart that grows weary of sin, for when sin loses its sweetness Satan loses his power, and grant faith to look to Thee alone for sanctification and keeping.

We ask that Thou wouldst wash away all the works of darkness belonging to the past, and guard and keep this soul in the future, that henceforth being delivered from the noise of archers and from inward doubts and from the plague of sin, this life may declare the works of the Lord and say, I shall not die, but live. Keep this one standing fast in liberty, not merely kept from some conspicuous sin, but truly delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of Thy dear Son.

We ask this not by any merit of our own, but only through the ransom which Thou hast found, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns to save to the uttermost. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has power over the enemy.

We pray with you that Jesus Christ, by His cross and resurrection, would put an end to the works of the devil in your life, silence every accusation and deception, and halt every plan formed against you, whether direct or indirect or through any influence. Scripture teaches that the Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil, and that Satan must serve the purposes of God even against his own will, having no authority except what the Lord permits for our correction and instruction.

We ask the Lord to bind the adversary and render him unable to carry out his work against you, to remove what has troubled you from the past and to guard you in the time to come, and to cover you with His blessing, for God is the cause of all good and it is His command that brings forth fruit in our lives. As you continue to walk with Christ, remain within His fold and close to His Church, resist the devil and he will flee from you, and stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord who allowed Satan to sift Peter also prayed that his faith would not fail and restored him.

So we pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to put a complete stop to every work of Satan concerning this life, to silence his mouth, to make his plans of no effect, and to bind him from acting. Wash away every trace of his influence from the past to the future and fill this place with Your grace, Your peace, and Your protection.
