We hear your heart cry and we join with you in lifting up your spiritual, financial, and physical needs before our heavenly Father, and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We know what it is to feel that things are just not good, and we want to remind you that God sees you where you are and He cares deeply for you. We are encouraged by the promise in 1 Peter 5:7 to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and in Philippians 4:6-7 that In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
For your spiritual needs, we pray that the Lord would draw you closer to Himself and renew your strength and joy in Him. We pray that you would seek Him daily through His Word and prayer, for Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And we cling to James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. For your financial needs, we trust in our Father who knows what we need before we ask. We pray that He would provide for you according to His riches and wisdom and open doors for provision and work, as He has promised in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. For your physical needs, we ask the Lord for His healing touch, strength, and restoration, remembering that He is the Lord who heals us and that in Psalm 103:2-3 we are told to Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.
We now pray together for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the spiritual battles, the financial burdens, and the physical struggles that weigh so heavy right now. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit afresh, bringing peace to the heart, clarity to the mind, and a renewed hunger for Your Word. Provide, Father, for every financial need in a way that brings glory to Your name and shows Your faithful hand. Touch the body with Your healing power, give strength where there is weakness, and comfort where there is pain. Help our friend to cast every care upon You and to rest in Your promise in Romans 8:28 that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Lead and guide each step, and let Your will be done in this life for Your glory. He is faithful and He will not leave you nor forsake you as promised in Hebrews 13:5 and Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. Your request has been heard and we do carry it before the throne of grace with you, for you have asked in the name of Jesus and that name is our plea.
We are moved by your honesty in saying that things are just not good, whether in soul or body or estate. Know this, that our Lord Jesus Christ is not a distant figure who lived long ago and then died, but He is alive and He is a familiar Friend to those who trust Him. You may tell your case to Him just as you would tell a sickness to a physician, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.
Scripture tells us that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. So we pray first for your soul, that if there be any burden of sin or heaviness of heart, you may know the forgiveness that is in Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other. The least thing about Christ is healing, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, not only to nourish but to change the life blood and make the nature new.
For your body we ask the Lord, who is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, to lay His hand upon you and restore you according to His wise and loving will. For your financial need we ask the same gracious Father who knows what you have need of before you ask Him, to provide for you and to give you contentment with godliness, which is great gain, and to open such doors as His providence appoints.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look upon this weary one who cries to Thee in Jesus name. Forgive sin, heal the broken heart, touch the body with Thy healing virtue, and supply all need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Give faith to look to Christ for all things, and patience to wait upon Thy good providence, and grace to rest in Thy pardoning love. Bring this soul beneath the healing touch of Him who alone can say, Be thou clean, and keep this one till the day when both soul and body shall be without spot or wrinkle. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we ask it, Amen.
