We are joining with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming to Him in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. We are encouraged by your faith as you have called upon Jesus for healing and wisdom and we count it a privilege to lift each of these needs with you.

We hear your heart for healing from imbalances and for your skin, and we know our God cares about every part of our bodies which He fearfully and wonderfully made. He is the Lord who heals us and restores us. We are reminded that we should praise Him and not forget all His benefits, who forgives all our sins and who heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and His promise that He will restore health to us and heal us of our wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. We also hear your desire to be a better learner, to have clarity and wisdom and a sharp memory for your studies. This is a godly desire, for true wisdom comes from the Lord. We are told in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to us, and in Proverbs 2:6 that Yahweh gives wisdom and out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. God gave knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom in Daniel 1:17, and He can give you diligence and clarity of mind as you seek Him.

We also lift up the gift of music He has placed in your hands with the guitar and banjo. We pray that your fingers would be nimble and your practice would be fruitful, not merely for skill but to use these instruments for His glory. Whatever we do we are to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men in Colossians 3:23. As you prepare yourself and discipline your hands and your mind, we pray He would bless the work of your hands and let your music be an offering of praise. We love your heart to be a sharp student and we pray not for a fleeting superhuman ability but for a mind renewed and strengthened by Him, kept in His peace as we bring our requests to Him with thanksgiving in Philippians 4:6-7.

Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, upon every imbalance and upon her skin. You know every cell and every need, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14, and we ask that You would bring balance, restoration and wholeness according to Your perfect will. Grant her clarity of mind and wisdom from above. Teach her how to learn, deepen her understanding, strengthen her memory and help her to be diligent and focused as a student. Anoint her fingers for the guitar and banjo, give her dexterity and joy as she practices the gifts You have given her, and let her use them to glorify You. We also lift up her sister wherever she may be, asking that You would keep her, bless her and draw her close to You, and we lift up every reader who joins in this prayer that You would meet each one according to their need. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to be faithful in stewarding your health with rest and care for the body He has given you, and to be diligent in your studies and in your practice, trusting that He will equip you for every good work He has prepared for you. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even the leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. He who heals the broken in heart is the same who heals the body, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon you, to restore what is imbalanced, to bring health to your skin, and to strengthen your body according to His wise and merciful will. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a physician. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure.

You have asked also for clarity and wisdom, to be a better learner with a sharp memory. The Scripture says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not, and it shall be given him. We all lack wisdom, for we are poor, foolish creatures, but the Lord does not upbraid us for our folly when we ask. He gives wisdom if we ask for it, and He gives it liberally. Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. So we encourage you to ask in faith, and to study the Scriptures with a view to the practical testing of what you learn, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The Lord who taught you to desire skill with the guitar and banjo, which He has put into your hands, can make your fingers ready and your mind attentive, that you may use these instruments with diligence and joy as a good steward of the gifts He has given.

We also remember before the Lord your sister, wherever she may be, and the reader who joins in this prayer, that God would supply what each may need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings, we thank You that healing and pardon flow from Calvary.
