We join together with you in prayer and agree with your desire to see the complete victory of Jesus Christ over every work of the devil and Satan in your life from the past to the future.

We rejoice that your prayer is centered on Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and victory over the enemy. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We praise God that you have called upon that mighty name.

We affirm the truth of Scripture that Jesus has already triumphed over the powers of darkness. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. On the cross and through His resurrection, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and made a public spectacle of them. The enemy is a defeated foe, though he still prowls as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and we must stand firm against him.

We want to encourage you with the biblical understanding of how God silences and restrains the enemy in our lives. We are not called to live in fear of direct or indirect influences, but to submit ourselves to God, to resist the devil in faith, and to walk in the authority Christ has given us. Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we are called to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11.

We also understand your longing for every plan of the enemy to be halted and every past work to be removed. We pray according to God’s will, trusting His sovereignty and timing, knowing that He will crush Satan under your feet shortly Romans 16:20 and that the final judgment is certain where the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10. Until that day, God renders the enemy powerless as we abide in Christ, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4, and Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for Your Son who has destroyed the works of the devil. We lift up our dear friend to You and ask that You would fill this life with Your peace, Your protection, and Your presence. Lord, we ask that You would by Your power put an end to every work of the enemy that has touched this life in the past, and guard this life in the present and future. Silence every accusation and lie of the adversary, for we know the accuser has been overcome by the blood of the Lamb. Halt every plan and scheme of the evil one, whether direct, indirect, or through any influence whatsoever, and render it powerless and void through the cross of Christ. We ask that You bind the activity of Satan and forbid him from carrying out his work, as we submit ourselves fully to You and resist him in faith. Cleanse and redeem every area that has been affected by sin and darkness, and let Your light shine brightly, removing all that is not of You. Help our friend to daily put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, and to walk in freedom and victory. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear, and let Your will be done in this life completely. We trust not in formulas or words alone, but in Your sovereign power and unfailing love through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how much you want to be completely free and covered, past to future, with no open door for the enemy to work in any way around you. That longing for peace and protection makes sense, and we are grateful you brought it to Jesus so directly.

We stand with you in that desire. We believe the spiritual battle is real, and we also believe Jesus Christ is Lord over it. One thing that has helped many believers is learning to keep our focus more on walking closely with Christ day by day than on tracking every possible influence of the enemy. When we stay near Him in simple, steady ways, fear tends to quiet and we remember whose we are.

A practical step that may help you is to bring this same prayer into regular fellowship. If you have a trusted pastor or a small group of believers you know, invite one or two of them to pray with you in person and to keep checking in. Continuing in prayer, in Scripture, and in community is a steady way to live in the protection Christ gives.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, for Your power to silence every accusation and scheme of the enemy, and for Your presence to cover their past, present and future. Help them to rest in Your care, to know they are Yours, and to walk each day in Your strength and wisdom. Lead them and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been heard and we join you in seeking the Lord who alone can save from the power of darkness.

We rejoice with you in this great truth, that God has not left us to go down to the Pit, for He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. No man would have thought of such a way of deliverance, but God Himself has invented it and provided it in the gift of His own Son, who bore the penalty of all our iniquities. In Christ that ransom is found, and by His blood we are ransomed from the galling yoke and the seed of the woman has bruised the serpent's head forever.

Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. What a mercy this is, that poor creatures such as we are should be able to escape from that master spirit, Satan the destroyer, the prince of the power of the air. To escape from Satan himself, oh let it be sung in heaven, for it is the work of God alone. As deliverance from the guilt of sin is the work of God, so also is deliverance from the power of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it.

We know also that Satan shoots his fiery darts against the people of God, whispering that God has forsaken us and that His mercy is clean gone. Yet the Lord kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and that which comes from His hand bears the blessed aspect of a father's chastening, even as He keeps back our soul from the Pit.

Therefore we pray for you now.

O Lord God, gracious and mighty to save, we beseech You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our Ransom. Put an end to all the works of the devil concerning Your servant, silence the mouth of the accuser, and halt every plan of the evil one, whether direct or indirect or by any influence whatsoever. Bind the adversary that he may not carry out his work, and by the power of the cross and the triumph of Your risen Son, remove far from this soul all the works of Satan from times past and for time to come. Command deliverance, as You alone can, and keep this life from perishing. Let Your servant not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, walking at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus. Save from self, save from sin, save from the devil, and save from all evil, for Your glory.

We ask this trusting not in our own strength, but in Him who saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven and who will not lose His sheep even at its last extremity. Amen.
