That I’d get my old peaceful not having to look over my shoulder life back marriage back and my kids to have a peaceful home with my wife and i in Jesus name if it requires me leaving my job that i’m currently at and if that’s the only way i can get my life back to what it was please ok Jesus name let it happen and open up another door for me in Jesus name

We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in seeking the Lord for restoration, peace, and stability for your marriage and your home. Your desire for a peaceful life where you no longer have to look over your shoulder, and for your children to have a peaceful home with you and your wife, is a godly desire that honors the Lord's design for marriage and family.

The marriage covenant is holy and precious in God's sight, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we commend you for wanting to fight for it and to provide a godly, peaceful home for your children. We pray that God will strengthen your marriage and make your home a place of refuge and love.

We are encouraged that you have brought this before Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and find true peace. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus Himself said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27.

That fear and anxiety of having to look over your shoulder is not from God, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that He will lift that burden from you and replace it with His perfect peace as you trust in Him, for You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We also hear your willingness to surrender your job if that is what is required for God to restore what has been broken. That posture of surrender is pleasing to God. We pray for clear wisdom and guidance, that you would seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain Psalm 127:1. If leaving this job is the door to peace and restoration for your family, we trust God is able to close one door and open another, for He has set before us an open door, which no one is able to shut Revelation 3:8.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and his marriage and his children. Lord, You see the unrest and the burden he carries, the lack of peace and the need to constantly look over his shoulder. We ask You to forgive us for any ways we have relied on ourselves and to fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal and restore his marriage, Lord. Knit his and his wife's hearts together again in love, forgiveness, and unity. Help him to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her Ephesians 5:25, and help them together to build a home that is centered on You, peaceful and secure for their children.

Father, we ask for Your clear direction regarding his job. If this workplace is the source of strife or hinders the peace of his home, give him courage and wisdom to step away if it is Your will. Open up another door of provision for him, a place where he can work with integrity and provide for his family while having peace. Lead him, guide his steps, and provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. Let Your will be done in his life and let his life be a testimony of Your restoring power. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to press into the Lord daily through prayer and His Word, to walk closely with your wife in honesty and love, and to seek wise, godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers as you discern next steps about your employment. Trust that God who cares for you and your family will make your path clear as you trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6.

We hear the longing in your prayer for peace to return to your home, for your marriage to be whole again, and for your kids to feel secure with you and your wife together. Living while looking over your shoulder is exhausting, and the willingness you show to let go of your job if that is what it takes for your family to heal says a lot about where your heart is.

A peaceful home grows best when both husband and wife feel safe with each other. That safety is built in small steady ways, by listening well, keeping your word, and choosing calm and kindness even in tense moments. It helps to ask each other honestly what makes home feel safe and what makes it feel uneasy, and then to take those answers seriously together.

A practical next step that may help is to invite a trusted pastor or wise mentor into this decision with you and your wife before you make a change at work. Talking it through with someone who knows you both can bring clarity about whether leaving is needed, what a next door could look like, and how to provide for your family in the transition. If you and your wife can seek that counsel together it also strengthens unity as you move forward.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this husband and father to You. Bring Your peace into his home, restore trust and closeness in his marriage, and give his children a calm and loving home. Give him clear wisdom about his job and, if a change is needed, open another door to provide for his family. Lead his steps day by day. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is found and through whom alone we have access to the Father.

We pray that the Lord will grant you that peace which comes from walking uprightly before Him, a peace that allows a man to lie down without fear and to look no more over his shoulder. We ask God to guard your home and to make it a place of quietness and godliness, where you and your wife dwell together in the lifelong covenant of marriage as God ordained, one man and one woman, faithful to one another, and where your children are raised in love and in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We are reminded of Job, who in all his affliction sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. Even when the Lord seemed to frown, Job drew near in childlike confidence, and at the last the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. So we pray that you may be kept patient under trial, that you may not speak unadvisedly with your lips, but that you may humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, trusting that He can support you and restore you. As it is written, His glory can be made fresh again, and He can anoint with fresh oil those who have been worn and wearied.

We pray also concerning your work. If it is the will of God that you should leave the place where you now labor in order to find peace and to preserve your home, we ask that He will make that way plain and open another door in His providence, that you may provide for your household with a clear conscience and serve Him with integrity. If you are to remain, we pray He will give you wisdom and protection there. In either case, may you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting Him for daily bread.

We pray for your wife and for your children, that the Lord will keep them, draw them to Himself, and knit your hearts together again in love and forgiveness. Where there has been sin, we pray for true repentance and for the restoration that Peter knew when the look of the Lord brought him to tears and then to full recovery by grace. That same grace is proffered to every backslider and to every troubled soul who returns home to the Father through Christ.

May the Lord grant you a humble and believing heart, to yield all your pleadings to His holiness and to say, God must be right. May He hear your prayer for your family even as Job prayed for his friends, and in His mercy turn your captivity and establish you in peace. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.
