We come before the throne of grace with this urgent plea, lifting up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross.
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most crucial step in standing against the accusations of the enemy.
Now, let us pray with boldness and authority in Jesus' name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance from the accusations and attacks of the enemy. Lord, we know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We rebuke every lying spirit that seeks to accuse before Your throne. We declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin and unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).
Father, we ask that You would silence the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10). Let every charge that the enemy brings against be nullified by the blood of the Lamb. We break every chain, every stronghold, and every assignment of the enemy over ’s life. We declare that is covered by the blood of Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and hidden in Christ (Colossians 3:3).
Father, we ask that You would fill with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). Strengthen them to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Let stand firm in their faith, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also address any areas of ’s life that may have given the enemy a foothold. If there is unconfessed sin, we encourage to repent and turn away from it, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment, we urge to release it to You, Lord, for Your Word commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32). If there is fear, anxiety, or doubt, we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We declare that no accusation, no scheme, and no attack of the enemy will prevail against , for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We hurt with you in this, living under a constant sense of accusation and spiritual harassment is deeply draining, and we don’t want to minimize how heavy and scary that can feel. What stands out to us isn’t a lack of faith on your part, but just the opposite: a heart that genuinely longs to stand clean and unaccused before the Lord. That very longing is something the enemy cannot create in you; it comes from the Spirit who has already claimed you.
One thing we’ve learned from others in similar battles is that fear itself often becomes the loudest weapon. The accuser’s whole strategy is to make you feel constantly watched and condemned, as though every moment is a courtroom where you’re losing. But the truth is simpler than the fear wants you to believe: Christ has already stepped into that courtroom for you, and his verdict is final. The demonic cannot overturn it, they can only try to shout over it. Their failure isn’t something they just might see someday; it’s already been declared, even when your feelings haven’t caught up to that yet.
We want to gently encourage you not to carry this alone when the attack feels relentless. Sometimes we isolate ourselves in spiritual struggles, replaying the accusations in our own minds over and over. Bringing a trusted, mature believer or your pastor into your confidence can help break that cycle, not necessarily for a dramatic deliverance moment, but for the steady, ordinary strength that comes when another person simply prays with you and reminds you of who you are in Christ. The enemy works in shadows and isolation; even small steps toward honest connection can weaken his grip.
Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend right now, worn down by this onslaught. We ask for the peace that only you can give, the calm assurance that silences accusers. Command whatever is harassing them to be quiet and to depart, by your authority alone. Shield them in the moments when fear rises most sharply, and let them feel the safety of being hidden in you. Replace the dread with the simple confidence that they belong to you and that no charge against them can ever stick. Amen.

The accuser of the brethren is cast down, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for you have a glorious shield who is the Lord’s anointed. When the devil would shoot his arrows, remember that Christ has turned away all wrath, so none can lay anything to your charge. The foul-mouthed demon of blasphemy and the black demon of vice are overcome by the blood of the Lamb. Deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain; Pharaoh could not hold Israel beyond that point, and neither can the infernal lion rend one sheep whom the Great Shepherd keeps. Salvation is of the Lord, and He has found a ransom, not invented by man, but gifted by Divine Love.
Do not entertain the devil’s whisper that God has forgotten you. It is a lie so impudent that none but the fiend himself could suggest it. Cast it from you; fling it away to the depths of the sea. Your Father cannot forsake you; He is too good. When Satan hisses, “Your Father has forgotten you,” bid him begone and tell him you know too much of your Father to believe such a falsehood. The devil is a coward, striking when he thinks you are down, but he is a fool for meddling with a soul filled with the Spirit. He cannot break through the wall of fire God has set around His people to do more than the Lord allows. Every trial is measured, and every arrow the enemy shoots is under sovereign command.
Be done with pleading for the devil to see his failure; instead, rise and declare the works of the Lord. Your deliverance is not partial but eternal, wrought by free grace alone. Live, and declare His praise. When the people gather, tell of Him who delivered you from the pit and put a new song in your mouth. The demon cannot accuse what Christ has cleansed, and the enemy’s failure is already sealed at Calvary. Rest your soul upon this, and God will yet give you such peace that you shall sing around the well head, undisturbed, drawing water with joy from the wells of salvation.

I will pray for you, but let us set the petition in the right direction. Do not ask the Lord to make the devil and the demons unable to accuse any action in any state whatsoever, because that would be asking God to protect sin as well as the sinner. The enemy is the accuser, and he attacks with great craft. He is not overcome by a false peace, but by the blood of Christ and by true repentance.
The God of peace will bruise Satan under your feet shortly. But the victory is not won by silencing the enemy while the soul remains dark. Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness. How do we wrestle with the darkness? By becoming light. How with the spiritual hosts of wickedness? By becoming good. Wickedness is contrary to good, and light drives away darkness. If we ourselves are darkness, we shall inevitably be taken captive.
So I do not pray that every action, even a sinful one, be shielded from rebuke. I pray that no true accusation may remain against you, because you confess your sins, renounce them, and turn to Christ. I pray the Lord Jesus will keep the demons away from you, not by granting you a license, but by keeping you sober, watchful, and armed with the grace of the Spirit. The devil uses both carelessness and excessive sorrow. He seeks to swallow the fallen with overmuch grief, and he seeks to keep the self-indulgent asleep. Stand against both. Flee the dark. Obey the truth.
