Servant of All
Jesus Christ completely puts an end to all the works of the devil and Satan, silences the mouths of the devil and Satan, and completely halts all the plans of the devil and Satan for all whole the time. and Jesus Christ completely puts a stop to all actions of the Devil and Satan whether direct, indirect, or involving any connection or influence whatsoever, in Jesus’s name, amen.

We come before the throne of grace with boldness, standing firm in the authority of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over the devil and all his works. The Scriptures declare, "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB). We stand on this truth, knowing that Christ’s victory on the cross was complete and final. The enemy has been disarmed, his power broken, and his schemes exposed. "He stripped the principalities and the powers, and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it" (Colossians 2:15 WEB).

Yet we recognize that the devil still prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). His tactics are deception, accusation, and division, but we do not fear, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). We rebuke every lying spirit, every plan of destruction, and every whisper of doubt that seeks to undermine the finished work of Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Father, we ask You to silence the mouth of the accuser. Let every false word spoken against Your children fall to the ground, unheard and powerless. We pray that You would bind the strongman in every situation where he seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (Matthew 12:29 WEB). Let Your light expose every hidden work of darkness, and let Your truth prevail in every heart and mind. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18 WEB), and we stand in agreement with Your Word that says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).

We also lift up those who may be entangled in the enemy’s snares, whether through fear, addiction, bitterness, or unbelief. Lord, set the captives free! Break every chain of bondage, and let Your healing power flow into every broken place. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that Your people would walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6 WEB), far above all principality and power.

We thank You, Jesus, that You have already won the victory. We stand in that victory today, declaring that the devil’s time is short, and his end is sure. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

We are standing with you in this prayer, and we are so grateful for the way you’ve brought this request, filled with faith in Jesus’ complete authority. It’s a joy to join you in declaring that every work of the devil is already under Christ’s feet.

Jesus told His disciples that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him, and that same authority is what we lean on now. No plan of the enemy can stand against Him, and no voice of the accuser has the last word. When we pray in Jesus’ name, we’re not trying to convince God to act; we’re lining ourselves up with the victory that’s already won. That truth can steady us, especially when the battle feels long or the opposition loud.

One thing that often helps when the spiritual pressure rises is simply to speak back the truth you’ve already prayed here, out loud, if you’re able, declaring that Jesus silences the enemy and halts his schemes. Then follow that with a few moments of praise, thanking Christ for His absolute reign. It starves fear and feeds faith, reminding us that the war isn’t ours to win but His to have already finished.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we thank You that You hold all authority in heaven and on earth. We ask You now to silence every voice of the enemy, to dismantle every scheme, and to put a complete stop to all His works, whether direct, indirect, or through any influence. Cover this dear one in Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guard their heart and mind in You, and let them rest in the confidence that nothing can touch them outside of Your will. We trust You, the Victor, to keep them safe and secure, today and always. In Your mighty name, Amen.

How readily I join my faith with yours in this sacred request, for it is the very gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that He was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. The Son of God has come, and all the hosts of darkness flee before Him as chaff before the wind. You have pleaded that Jesus would silence every lying mouth and halt every foul scheme of the enemy, and I say a hearty Amen! He has but to speak the word, and the legions of hell are scattered. Remember how they cried out in His presence, knowing full well that He had come to destroy them. That same authority is His today, and He ever lives to enforce the victory of Calvary.

Let no dark whisper of Satan cause you to doubt. He may shoot his arrows of fear and accusation, but every one shall be shattered, for the Lord has said, “I have found a ransom.” The pit cannot hold those whom Christ redeems; He brings them forth with silver and gold of His own blood. The malice of the devil is real, but the power of Jesus is almighty. When the Lamb was slain, Pharaoh’s grip was broken, and so it is with every soul that trusts in Him. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, for neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities shall be able to separate you from His love. The destroyer’s works are already cast down; the strong man is bound by the Stronger. Stand still and see the salvation of God, for the Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

Let your prayer be seasoned with this confidence: that every petition you have sent up is already answered in the triumph of the risen Christ. He has put an end to sin, He has silenced the accuser, and He leads His captives free. Go now and work in His vineyard, rejoicing that the dragon’s head is crushed and the seed of the woman reigns. The best wine is yet to come, and you shall taste deliverance upon deliverance until faith is lost in sight.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is fervent and full of desire for Christ's absolute victory, and such zeal is indeed a gift of grace. Yet let us take care, lest while we pray against the devil we unwittingly fall into one of his subtle snares. I have often warned the flock that excessive preoccupation with the enemy, even in prayer, can open a door to despair or fear, which themselves are devices of his. Recall how Paul, though confident in the love of Christ, still said, "I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is toward Christ." He did not fear for his own separation from that love, for he was persuaded nothing could separate him, but he feared for the disciples, lest they be drawn away through the devil's cunning. So while you cry out for all Satan's works to be halted now and for all time, remember that the final crushing of that adversary remains a promise for the age to come. Paul writes that "the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." Not immediately, but shortly, and as a prayer and prophecy at once.

Our Lord Jesus Christ did indeed come to destroy the works of the devil, and when He drove out demons while walking in the flesh, He also gave a sign of the greater victory: that He would "drive away all error from the world, and put down his sorceries, and make all his arts useless." This He accomplishes daily through the preaching of the truth and the life of the Church. But in this present life the struggle remains, and God permits it for our training and for the testing of our love. Do not then be swallowed up with overmuch vexation over the enemy's activity, for that is another of his wiles. I have seen souls so consumed with battling the darkness that they neglect the light of virtue and the sweetness of prayer. The apostle warns us not to be ignorant of Satan's devices: he assails with great craft, and if he fought openly, victory would be easy. Therefore, be vigilant, but full of peace. Christ's words and His works are not those of one who is under the devil's power; He has bound the strong man, and He shares His authority with those who abide in Him.

When you pray that Christ should silence the devil's mouth and halt all his actions, you ask a good thing. Yet consider: the devil's mouth is already silenced in the hearts of believers who refuse his lies and instead speak the truth in love. It is silenced when we stop the mouths of false teachers who destroy others, not by idle contention but by godly doctrine and a blameless life. And his actions are halted whenever a soul resists temptation by the grace of God. Do not then think that the whole world will be utterly free from his influence before the Lord returns; but pray rather that you and all the faithful may be kept from the evil one, that his plans against you may come to nothing, and that you may stand firm in the day of trial. The victory is won, and yet we must fight. Arm yourself with the whole armor of God, and do not give the devil a foothold through sins of the tongue or through idleness, for these give him great advantage. Above all, keep your heart fixed on Christ, for love of Him is a strong tower that no enemy can breach. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, that you may trample on all the power of the enemy and rest in the peace that passes all understanding.

What you are asking for is precisely the kind of prayer that shakes the gates of hell. Too many believers treat spiritual warfare as a vague concept, but you have named the enemy, and you have planted your feet on the finished work of Jesus Christ. That is the only ground that will hold.

The enemy is a stubborn usurper. He only yields what he must, and that means our prayers need to be pointed, just as yours is. Jesus has already stripped him of his authority. On the cross, Christ disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them. So when you demand in Jesus’ name that every work of the devil be silenced and stopped, you are not begging heaven for a new victory; you are enforcing the victory that was won two thousand years ago. The throne belongs to the rightful King, and we share in His authority to drive the intruder off of His territory.

But the enemy does not leave without a fight. He will try to keep you focused on the noise, the symptoms, the discouragement. If he cannot defeat you with an outward assault, he will try to work from within, whispering that nothing is changing, that the oppression will never lift. Recognize that for what it is: a lie from the father of lies. Stand up in the name of Jesus and refuse to accept his gloom. The weapons we have are not of this world. Through the Word of God, through steadfast faith, through prayer that refuses to let go, you can resist him, and the promise stands that he will flee.

You are not helpless in this battle. The Spirit of God is the preserving agent in your life, holding back the flood of darkness. And when the enemy whispers that your situation is hopeless, turn that back on him by rejoicing in the Lord’s triumph. Praise confuses the devil’s ranks. As you lift up the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony, the things that have been harassing you lose their grip. Depression and irritation are often the fallout of this unseen war, but they scatter when you take hold of the victory that is yours in Christ.

I join you in this prayer right now. We stand against every work of Satan, every direct scheme and every hidden influence. We silence the lying voices in the name of Jesus. We declare that no plan of the enemy against you will prosper, because the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s work. And we thank the Father that the outcome is not in doubt. The enemy is a defeated foe; he must yield. Walk in that authority today. You are not a victim. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you.
