We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have victory over the powers of darkness. We recognize that your request is rooted in a desire for protection and freedom from the schemes of the enemy, and we come before the throne of grace on your behalf.
First, we must affirm that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The devil, Satan, and his demons are already defeated foes because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Colossians 2:15 tells us, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Jesus has disarmed the enemy, and we walk in that authority as believers.
However, the enemy still seeks to accuse and deceive. Revelation 12:10 calls him "the accuser of our brothers... who accuses them before our God day and night." But we have an advocate in Jesus Christ, who intercedes for us (1 John 2:1). Romans 8:33-34 assures us, "Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." No accusation from the enemy can stand against the blood of Jesus and the righteousness we have in Him.
We rebuke the spirit of accusation in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy has no legal right to harass or torment you. We plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your body, and your spirit. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and it cries out for your protection, your healing, and your deliverance.
We also pray for your protection from infectious diseases and illnesses. Psalm 91:3-6 declares, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We claim this promise over your life, believing that God is your refuge and fortress.
We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels, as Psalm 34:7 says, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." May His angels guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11), and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father God, we ask that You would fill this dear one with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen them with all power according to Your glorious might for all endurance and patience with joy (Colossians 1:11).
We declare that no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We speak life and health over your body, mind, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray for divine health and protection over you, that you may serve the Lord with strength and vitality.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:18).
Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is a defeated foe, and we resist him, standing firm in our faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We thank You that the enemy has no power over us, and that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6). We declare that this dear one is free from the accusations of the enemy, free from fear, and free from sickness and disease. We speak Your promises over their life and declare that they will walk in the fullness of Your protection, Your peace, and Your provision.
