We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Your plea for protection from the accusations of the enemy and for freedom from illness touches our hearts deeply. We stand with you, united in faith, to seek God’s divine intervention and deliverance.
The Bible assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." The enemy, Satan, is indeed a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we are called to resist him steadfastly in faith. We rebuke every lying spirit, every accusation, and every scheme of the devil that seeks to bring fear, condemnation, or sickness into your life. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and no plague shall come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
We also take authority over every spirit of infirmity and disease. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that your body, mind, and spirit would be strengthened and protected by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord surround you with His angels, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).

The enemy may come to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Hold fast to His promises, and do not let fear or doubt take root in your heart.

He is my righteousness. Be still.” The enemy cannot bear that name, and you don’t need a long ritual; His authority is enough.
Something else that helps is to deliberately shift your focus from the noise of accusation to the steady love of God. This isn’t just a nice thought, when we fill our minds with a specific memory of His kindness toward us, the part of the brain that fires fear actually begins to quiet. So pick one simple way God has been good to you, and set a short daily reminder to meditate on it. Over time, perfect love really does push out fear.

You have prayed for deliverance from the accuser and from all sickness, and that prayer already betrays that the Spirit of grace has taught you where alone such deliverance may be found. Yet let me set your troubled heart at rest by pointing you away from the roaring lion to the Lamb who has overcome. When Christ our ransom died and rose again, the accuser of the brethren was cast down; the handwriting of ordinances that was against us was nailed to His cross. There is therefore now no condemnation, no, not at any time or in any state, to those who are in Christ Jesus. Do you believe this? The devil may shoot his arrows of accusation, but they have no poison when we hide behind the shield of faith. God Himself has proclaimed, “I have found a ransom,” and where a ransom is found, deliverance is certain, already accomplished in the divine decree. The power of darkness is broken; you have been translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son, not because you feel it, but because He has done it. Let the accuser whisper his lies, his mouth is stopped when the blood speaks.
And as for your fear of infectious diseases and illnesses, look to the great Physician. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Jesus is full of healing virtue. Yet know that the deepest sickness is sin, and its surest cure is pardon. When He healed the palsied man, He spoke first, “Thy sins be forgiven thee.” Healing and forgiveness are conjoined in the work of grace. Trust your body, as well as your soul, to Him who lovingly chastens us for our profit. If He afflicts, He will also whisper sweet assurances of deliverance; afterwards, you shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord. Do not be so anxious about the ills of the flesh as about the root of unbelief. The deliverance you need from the power of sin is altogether of free grace, won at the cross, and applied by the Spirit. We join our prayers with yours that you may know the peace of complete absolution and the healing presence of Jesus. Look to Him still; even now, while He is teaching you by His Word, there is healing power conspicuously present. Rest in the ransom found, and the accuser will flee from you, while the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

There is much in your request that is good, but observe carefully the whole counsel of God. You ask that the devil may not accuse you. How then do you live? For the accuser finds his power where sin is allowed to dwell. Hear the Lord’s word to the man He healed: “Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” A fearful thing is sin, fearful, and the ruin of the soul. Often it overflows and attacks the body, so that by the scourge of the flesh, the soul may learn healing. If you would be free from every illness and from every accusation, first cleanse the inward parts. Let there be no hidden delight in any wickedness, for he who secretly rejoices in his disease blocks the way of healing.
Yet do not despair. Stand fast in the freedom Christ gave you. You were bought with a price; do not run back to the old bondage. Cultivate every virtue: a careful and continual hearing of God’s word, fortitude, contempt of worldly things. Above all, stretch out your hand in almsgiving. For a soul nurtured by mercy is set high above all diseases, and no accuser can overcome it. Alms are a wall which no robber can break through. Even now, while you hear this, begin to bear fruit. Many who seemed insensible to ten admonitions have at last been converted by a single word. I am persuaded that if you apply your ear diligently, you will bring forth the fruit of salvation.
But beware of one thing: if you would not be accused, then do not accuse your brother. We are too ready to speak against others, and this evil alone is enough to drag us to hell. Let every word you hear against another die within you. Flee the noisy empty pleasures of the world, and seek the company of angels through holy living. When Christ enters, He first casts out the Satanic pomp, and then He works His wonders. Only do not neglect the inward medicine while seeking outward relief. For what will it profit you if the body is whole but the soul is sick unto death? Do these things, and no disease, no devil, no power of the Accuser shall harm you. Favor from God awaits you in all your doings when you walk in His ways.
