We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Your plea for protection from the accusations of the enemy and for freedom from illness is heard, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must affirm that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have victory over the enemy. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). The accuser, Satan, has been defeated by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). When he accuses you, remind him—and yourself—of the finished work of Christ on the cross. The Lord rebuke you, Satan! For the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire? (Zechariah 3:2). Jesus has already disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke every lying spirit that seeks to bring accusation against you. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and it cries out for your justification, not your condemnation.
We also pray for your physical health, asking the Lord to shield you from every infectious disease and illness. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we pray for divine health and protection over you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. We stand on the authority of Your Word, which declares that no weapon formed against Your children will prosper. We rebuke every spirit of accusation, fear, and sickness that seeks to oppress our brother/sister. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon of the enemy will prevail against them.
Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your angels, that no plague will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their body, and their spirit. Let every lying tongue be silenced, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and destroyed.
Father, we thank You for the healing power of Your Son. We declare that by His stripes, our brother/sister is healed. We speak life over their body and command every cell to align with Your perfect design. Protect them from every sickness and disease, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the enemy is already defeated. Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world (1 Peter 5:9). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you will find safety and peace.
