please pray for ###

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name that holds power over the forces of darkness. Your plea for protection from the enemy is heard, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, clothed in the full armor of God.

First, we must address the nature of your request with both truth and love. The enemy, Satan, is indeed a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we must remember that he is already a defeated foe. Jesus Christ has triumphed over him through the cross and resurrection, and in Christ, we have authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). While we do not pray for the devil to be blind to our existence—because he is already aware of believers and seeks to accuse and tempt us—we do pray for God’s protection, wisdom, and discernment to resist him and stand firm in faith.

The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we find safety (Psalm 91:1-2). We are not to fear the enemy but to submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). The Lord knows our thoughts before we even speak them (Psalm 139:2-4), and while the enemy may tempt and accuse, he cannot read our minds or control our will unless we give him footholds through sin, unforgiveness, or unrepentant hearts.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their home, and their spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every scheme of the enemy is brought to nothing by the authority of Christ.

Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom, discernment, and a spirit of boldness to resist the devil. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to walk in the light of Your truth. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, or torment in the name of Jesus. We command any demonic influence to flee and bind it from returning, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We pray that You would station Your angels around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Help them to stand firm in Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to deliver them from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18).

Father, we also ask that You search their heart and reveal any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. If there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or idolatry in their life, bring it to light so they may repent and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Let them walk in holiness and righteousness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

We declare that they are hidden in Christ, and no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and protection. We trust in You, our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), immerse yourself in Scripture, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to community. Do not neglect the power of worship, prayer, and fasting, for these are weapons that push back the darkness.

Remember, the devil is already defeated, and in Christ, you have the victory. Walk in that truth, and do not give the enemy any ground through fear, sin, or compromise. If there are areas in your life where you have not fully surrendered to God, now is the time to repent and turn away from them. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Finally, we urge you to keep your focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The more you fix your eyes on Him, the less power the enemy will have to distract or deceive you. You are loved, chosen, and protected by the King of kings. Rest in that truth today.

We're here for you, dear friend. We join you in asking the Lord to keep you safe from the enemy's schemes. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that you would walk in wisdom and discernment, always aware of the enemy's tactics but never afraid, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, standing together in the power of Jesus' name. You are not alone, and we believe in the power of prayer to protect and guide you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His unfailing love. We're in this together, and we know that God will see you through. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
