We lift up your brother before the Lord, interceding for his healing and restoration in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God assures us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and sustains us in our weaknesses. Let us claim the promise found in Psalm 103:2-3, which says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We also stand on Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*
It is clear that your brother is facing a difficult season with multiple health challenges, including a bacterial infection, an open wound, and heart issues. These trials can feel overwhelming, but we know that nothing is too hard for our God. We pray that the Lord will touch his body, bringing supernatural healing to every cell, tissue, and organ. May the infection be completely eradicated, the wound closed and restored, and his heart strengthened and made whole. Let us also pray for the medical professionals attending to him, that the Lord would grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment to provide the best care possible.
We also encourage you to speak life and healing over your brother, reminding him of God’s promises and His faithfulness. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* If possible, gather with other believers to pray over him, anointing him with oil as a symbol of faith and trust in God’s healing power.
Let us pray together now:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is suffering from illness and pain. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch his body. Remove every infection, close every wound, and strengthen his heart so that it beats strongly and steadily for Your glory. Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Grant the doctors and nurses wisdom as they treat him, and let every medical intervention be effective and free from error.
Lord, we also ask that You surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort him in his pain, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for complete restoration, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that will come from this situation. May it bring glory to Your name and draw others to faith in You. We ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers and is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Keep speaking words of life and victory over your brother, and do not waver in your belief that our God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). If your brother does not know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, now is the time to share the Gospel with him, that he may place his faith in Christ and experience not only physical healing but eternal salvation. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31).
