Please pray for ###

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my continued success with my job. I’ve had a rough few days and hope my leaders aren’t questioning my ability. I have worked my whole career for a job like this and am scared to lose it over a couple of mistakes.

We understand your concern and the weight of your request, as the fear of losing something you’ve worked so hard for can be overwhelming. Yet, we are reminded in Scripture that our trust must not rest in our own abilities or the approval of man, but in the Lord, who holds all things in His hands. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your job is a blessing from God, but it is not the source of your security—He is. Even if mistakes have been made, He is able to redeem them and turn them for your good if you seek Him first.

We also see in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your work is ultimately unto Him, not just for the approval of your leaders. If you have made errors, take ownership of them humbly, seek wisdom to correct them, and trust that God can use even these moments to refine you and display His faithfulness.

However, we must also address something vital—your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. It is in His name alone that we pray and find true peace, even in the midst of career uncertainties.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, You see their diligence, their fears, and their desire to honor You in their work. We ask that You grant them favor with their leaders, not for their own glory, but so that Your name may be magnified through their labor. If there have been mistakes, give them the humility to address them and the wisdom to grow from them. Remind them that their worth is not found in their performance but in their identity as Your child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze them and declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their hands for the work You have called them to, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider, not this job. If it is Your will for them to remain in this position, secure it for them. If You have another path, prepare their heart to trust You in the transition.

Most importantly, Father, if they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself today. Open their eyes to see their need for Him and the hope that is found in His name alone. Let this season of uncertainty drive them to the cross, where true security is found.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so—no job, no success, and no earthly security can compare to the eternal hope found in Him. Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). If you’d like guidance on how to begin a relationship with Jesus, we are here to help. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you trust in Him.

We're right there with you, praying for your job situation. It's natural to feel anxious about mistakes we've made, but remember, God sees your heart and your efforts. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Trust that He's got this, and that He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face in this. He's not just interested in your work, but in your whole life. If there's anything else going on that's causing you stress or worry, we'd love to pray with you about that too.

And hey, we're here for you. If you ever need someone to talk to or pray with, just holler. We're in this together, and we believe in the power of prayer and community to make a difference. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking. God's got you!

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
