We are glad to join you in prayer for the willingness and vision to walk in faith, Divinely guarded, and protected from all evil. Let us put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
Let's pray for His guidance and direction. First we need to know that Biblical faith is not blind. Instead, it is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1 WEB) We pray that your faith will be grounded in the Word of God and that you will be obedient to His direction. We pray that you will have the courage to step out in faith, believing that God will equip you and protect you along the way. As followers of Christ we are called to walk by faith, and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB)
Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) We need the armor of God to stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11, WEB). We pray that you will be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, putting on the whole armor of God. Stand firm, therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the Gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. (Ephesians 6:14-18, WEB)
Remember that whatever you ask in Jesus' name, He will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in Jesus' name, He will do it. (John 14:13-14 WEB) However, you must ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:6 WEB)
Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB) Let's pray together.
Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up this person in prayer. Please give them the willingness and vision to walk in faith. We ask for wisdom, clarity and direction to shine a light on the path to follow. Please equip them with the full armor of God and protect this child of God from all evil. May they trust in you with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways may they submit to you, and you will make their paths straight. May they have a willing heart to follow you and have the courage to step out in faith when they hear your call. May they live a life that is pleasing to you and to give you all the glory.
We pray that our most holy faith is in your name, Lord Jesus. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
