We understand your desire for success and recognition in your career, and we empathize with you having not had success recently. However, it's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we are able to approach God to ask anything. As God's children, we are to ask in Jesus' name and it is the only name by which we can be saved. Let's remember that our ultimate goal should be to glorify God and seek His will in all aspects of our lives, including our careers.
As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is seeking success in their career. Lord, we ask that You guide their steps and that Your will be done in their life. We pray that You give them the strength and wisdom to pursue their goals with integrity and a heart that seeks to glorify You.
Father, while we ask for Your blessing and favor in their career, we also pray that You help them remain focused on Your will and purposes. Help them to remember that true success is found in You and that Your plans for them are good, pleasing and perfect.
Lord, if it is Your will, grant them this reward and use it to open doors for their career and to bring glory to Your name. But above all, help them to trust in You and to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all other things will be added according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray for their faith and understanding. We pray that they may be rooted and grounded in love, and may have power, together with all the saints, to appreciate what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in your life and to trust in His timing and purposes. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will guide you as you seek Him with all your heart.
As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.'"
