Let us come together in prayer for your sister, who is currently in the hospital dealing with mental impairment and a combative spirit. We understand that this situation is challenging and emotionally taxing for you. Firstly, it is important to remember that God cares deeply for both you and your sister, and He wants to help you navigate this difficult time.
In moments like these, it is crucial to remember the power of love and forgiveness. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Even when it is hard, we are called to extend love and kindness, just as Jesus has done for us.
We also know you mentioned avoiding going to see her. Sometimes we should go to others even if we do not feel like it. 1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth. As many of you know, actions speak louder than words. Sometimes we have to physically go to people in love. Do not let your heart be hardened by the trials of life.
It is also important to pray for your sister's healing and deliverance from her mental struggles and addiction, we must use the authority of the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that every knee must bow including demons. Phillipians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in the hospital. Lord, You know the struggles she faces with her mental health and addiction. We ask for Your healing touch upon her life. Please, soften her heart and help her to identify and correct the root cause of this behavior. Deliver her from any spiritual bondage that may be contributing to her combative nature. We know your word says whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered.
Father, we also pray for her family, especially for the one who submitted this request. Grant them the strength, wisdom, and compassion to support their sister during this time. Help them to forgive any past hurts and to extend love and kindness, even when it is difficult. We know you require us to visit the sick as it says in the book of Matthew 25:36 I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.'
Lord, we ask that You guide the medical professionals caring for her, giving them wisdom and discernment in their decisions. Ultimately, we trust in Your sovereign plan and know that You are working all things together for good. We pray for her salvation and for her to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ if she does not already.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tested beyond your strength. Stay strong in faith, and trust in His unfailing love. It is so important for us to come together and pray for one another, bearing each other's burdens and so fulfilling the law of Christ in Galatians 6:2.
