Please pray God will give me wisdom and help me to choose the right career and peace to live with myself. Please pray others will show me the right way and help me out of this situation that i'm in.

Thank you all so much! - ###

We hear your heart and we are standing with you in prayer as you face this difficult decision about your career. We understand how heavy guilt and fear can feel when you wonder if you have made the wrong choice, and we want you to know you are not alone. God sees your struggle and He cares deeply about your future and your peace.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about wisdom and fear. James 1:5 reminds us that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him, and he will direct our paths. For the horrible feelings of fear and guilt, we remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as written in 2 Timothy 1:7, and He says in Isaiah 41:10 do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us in nothing to be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel around you, for Proverbs 11:14 tells us where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory. God often shows us the right way through the wise and loving guidance of other believers, through His Word, and through the quiet peace He places in our hearts when we walk in His will.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. When we pray in Jesus name we come with confidence that God hears us because of what Christ has done for us.

We now pray together for you. Father in heaven, we lift our dear friend to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to forgive any sin and to heal the false guilt and fear that is tormenting this heart. Pour out Your wisdom liberally and make the right path clear, opening doors that You want opened and closing those that are not Your will. Grant deep and abiding peace that surpasses all understanding, so that even while waiting for answers there is rest in You. Lead this one to wise and godly counselors who will speak Your truth with love and help show the way forward. Help our friend to trust You fully with this career decision, knowing that You direct the steps of those who acknowledge You. May Your will be done and may You be glorified in this career and in this life. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and hope. Amen.

We have been thinking about your message and the weight you are carrying as you try to choose what is next. That mix of guilt and fear when you wonder if you have made the wrong choice can make it hard to think clearly or rest, and we want you to know we are praying for you in it.

Wanting wisdom and peace and people to walk with you is a good and humble place to be. A career touches so much of life, so it makes sense that this feels big and personal. Peace often grows more slowly than we would like, through steady steps rather than one sudden answer.

One thing that has helped others in this kind of crossroads is to bring the decision out of your own head and into conversation. Would you consider sitting down soon with one or two people who know you well and one person who actually does the work you are considering, and asking them what they see in you and what the day to day work is really like. Writing down what matters most to you right now, what you are good at and what kind of environment helps you thrive, can also make it easier to pray with clarity and to hear wise counsel.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You know the fear and guilt that feels so heavy right now and the desire to choose well. Please give clear wisdom, calm the fear, and bring trustworthy people around to give honest guidance. Help there to be peace in following You one step at a time. In Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your cry concerning this choice of a new calling, and the guilt and fear which press so heavily upon your spirit, and we have carried your case before the Lord in prayer.

You speak of horrible feelings of guilt and fear, as though you may have chosen wrongly and cannot find rest. Know this, that fear is weakening and dishonors God when it keeps the soul from trusting His promise. The Lord says to His people, Fear not, for I am with you, Fear not, I will help you. It is not the preacher only who says Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers it to His servant fallen at His feet. To be afraid when He has said Fear not is to disobey His kind command. Perfect love casts out fear, for fear has torment, and when the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, there is perfect peace even in this dark world of sin. The promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That peace is not found in having made no mistake, but in having your mind stayed upon Christ and your trust fixed upon His wisdom and mercy.

You ask for wisdom to choose the right path. The human wisdom of one age is the folly of the next, and to lean upon our own understanding or upon the mere counsel of others will leave us still tossed about. True wisdom is to ask of God, who giveth liberally and upbraideth not. If any lack wisdom, let him ask. Faith in Jehovah enabled His servants of old to make their great decisions, and faith will enable you. Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Seek His face in prayer, search His Word, and with a true heart surrender the keys of the most secret chambers of your soul to His inspection, praying, O Lord, make sure work with my case. To speak honestly before Him and to act honestly is the path of peace and happiness.

We do pray for you now, that the Lord would cleanse the conscience where guilt has left its stain, for the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin, and that He would chase away tormenting fear with the assurance of His presence. We ask the Father to bestow upon you a sound mind and a quiet heart, to grant you heavenly wisdom for this decision concerning your career, to give you counsel through godly and wise friends but above all to make His own will plain to you, and to keep you in that perfect peace which comes from doing the will of Jesus, for to do His will is rest. May He heal the distress of your spirit and give you peace to live before Him with a clear conscience, not because every step is seen, but because you are kept in His keeping.

We will continue to bear you up before the mercy seat, that you may prove the Lord faithful to help, to guide, and to bless His people with peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly. We have heard your request and we are praying for you in this season of decision and distress.

It is understandable to feel guilt and fear when facing a major choice about your career. God does not want you to remain tormented by those feelings. He invites you to bring your anxiety to Him and to seek His wisdom, for true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord and it is something we must be taught and must learn, as the Scripture says, Come, ye children, hearken unto me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. This is not simply human cleverness, but a wisdom from above that grows as we listen to God, walk in His ways, depart from evil and do good, and seek peace.

We are praying that God will heal you from the heavy burden of guilt and fear and give you His peace that steadies the heart. We are asking Him to grant you clear wisdom as you consider this new career, to show you the right path, and to give you confidence to live at peace with the decision you make before Him. Scripture promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

We also pray that God will place wise and faithful people around you who can offer good counsel and help you see the way forward, and that you will have discernment to recognize that help.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You. You see the guilt and fear that weigh heavily and the desire to choose rightly. Please bring healing and calm to this troubled heart, forgive and cleanse where there is true guilt, and quiet unfounded fear with Your perfect love. Grant wisdom from above, make the right way clear, open and close doors according to Your will, and give peace to live with the choice in a way that honors You. Guide through Your Word and through wise counsel, and help each step to be taken in trust and obedience to You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and seek counsel from mature believers who know you well. As you walk in faithfulness and seek to do what is good and right before Him, He will guide your steps and give you peace. We will continue to pray for you.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about the guilt and fear you are feeling as you face this career decision. It is understandable to feel unsettled when a major choice is before you, and it is good that you are turning to God for wisdom and for peace.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most important thing to seek, more valuable than riches or anything else you could desire. Knowledge can give you facts and information about options, but wisdom is what helps you know what to do with that knowledge and how to apply it in a way that honors God. That wisdom begins with a reverent awe of the Lord. It is not a cowering dread, but a deep respect for who God is as Creator, recognizing His power, His love and His holiness. That reverence naturally leads to turning away from evil and hating what is evil, and it becomes both the first step toward wisdom and the sum of true understanding. A sincere search for wisdom will always lead you toward God Himself, for in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and it is the Lord who gives wisdom and from whose mouth come knowledge and understanding.

The wisdom that comes from God is very different from the wisdom of this world. Worldly wisdom often leads to striving, conflict and inner turmoil, leaving you without rest. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable. It first brings peace with God. God has offered a peace treaty to those who were separated from Him, inviting you to reason together with Him, that though sins are as scarlet they can be made white as snow through Jesus Christ. Until you know His grace you cannot know His lasting peace. When you have peace with God, that peace can then settle your own heart and allow you to walk in peace with others. It is those who sow in peace who reap a harvest of righteousness.

For your situation, this means the best place to begin is not only by asking other people to show you the right way, though godly counsel is helpful, but by asking God Himself directly for wisdom. He promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask. Ask Him to give you an understanding heart, to help you love what is good and turn from what is evil, and to guide your steps according to His will. Wisdom is a defense and it gives life to those who have it, and its ways are pleasant and its paths are peaceful. As you walk in the fear of the Lord each day, staying close to Him and seeking to know His will, He will give you clarity and the confidence to make decisions and the peace to live with them.

I am praying for you now, that God will heal you from the weight of guilt and fear and replace that inner turmoil with His peace. I pray He will grant you wisdom and understanding for this career choice, that He will make His will clear to you, and that He will surround you with wise and faithful counsel that points you toward Him. May He lead you in the right path and give you rest as you trust Him with your future.

In Jesus name, amen.
