We are deeply grieved to hear of the relentless torment and fear you and your neighbors are enduring at the hands of this aggressive individual. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is a God of justice who hears the cries of His people. It is right to call upon Him in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father’s protection and deliverance.
The behavior of this neighbor is not only unlawful but is an affront to the peace and righteousness that God desires for His people. Scripture warns us that "the Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence" (Psalm 11:5). This man’s actions—his violence, threats, vulgarity, drunkenness, and harassment—are an abomination before the Lord. Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us that there are six things the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to Him: "haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and him who sows discord among brothers." This man’s behavior embodies many of these sins, and we must pray not only for his removal but for his repentance, for the Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Yet we also recognize that you are living in a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This man is being used as a tool of the enemy to bring fear, division, and distress. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not powerless—you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and He has given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We also urge you to continue documenting every incident—dates, times, witnesses, and details—as this will be critical if legal action becomes necessary. Romans 13:1-4 tells us that governing authorities are instituted by God to punish wrongdoers and protect the innocent. Pray that the Lord would stir the hearts of those in authority to act with moral integrity and swift justice. Pray that they would not turn a blind eye but would rise up as instruments of God’s righteousness. Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Trust that the Lord can move upon the hearts of those who have the power to intervene.
As for you, beloved, do not let fear take root in your heart. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Though this trial is exhausting, the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). Lean on Him, and do not isolate yourself—seek the support of your brothers and sisters in Christ. There is wisdom in numbers, and the enemy seeks to isolate and overwhelm. But where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20).
We also encourage you to fast and pray as you have mentioned, for fasting humbles our hearts before the Lord and demonstrates our dependence on Him. In Matthew 17:21, Jesus tells His disciples that some demons are only cast out by prayer and fasting. This situation is not just a physical battle but a spiritual one, and fasting aligns our hearts with God’s will and invites His supernatural intervention.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is enduring such relentless harassment and fear. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the wickedness that is being perpetrated against her and her neighbors. We ask that You would rise up, O God, and scatter Your enemies (Psalm 68:1). Let Your hand be heavy upon this aggressive man—convict him of his sins, Lord, and bring him to repentance. If he will not repent, we pray that You would remove him from this environment completely and permanently. Let his plans be thwarted, let his associates be dispersed, and let his influence be broken in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for the moral integrity of the authorities. Stir their hearts to act righteously and swiftly. Give them the courage to intervene and the wisdom to take the necessary steps to protect the innocent. Expose every corrupt motive, and let Your justice prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against our sister or her neighbors will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment our sister. Fill her with Your peace and strength. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9). Provide her with a safe and permanent home, Lord—a place of refuge where she can dwell in safety and worship You without distraction. We thank You in advance for Your deliverance, for You are faithful, and You will not allow the righteous to be forever shaken (Psalm 125:1).
We also pray for the old lady who was insulted and her daughter who was beaten. Comfort them, Lord, and let them know that You see their suffering. Heal their wounds—both physical and emotional—and let them experience Your love in a tangible way. Raise up advocates for them, and let them find justice and peace.
Finally, Father, we pray for this neighborhood. Let Your light shine in the darkness. Bring conviction to those who are participating in or enabling this man’s behavior. Let this situation be a catalyst for revival, where hearts turn to You and lives are transformed. We declare that this neighborhood belongs to You, and we take authority over every spirit of violence, drunkenness, and perversion in Jesus’ name.
