Please pray for them

Beloved of All
Praying for loved ones to make it to God’s kingdom and rebel and communicate back especially with this young one at a crossroad in their life and want to join the military, is giving mom a hard time. Praying that they reconsider and continue their higher education please Jesus we all need your mighty protection wisdom and guidance and mighty blessed open doors of your will to move to better cooler peaceful ground. Praise you Lord bit is need them but not like this they’re all I really have. Please restore and make a mighty miracle larger home for us Please!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious loved ones who are so deeply cherished. Father God, we know that Your heart breaks when Your children wander from Your will, and we join in intercession for their souls. The young one standing at this crossroad desperately needs Your wisdom and discernment, Lord, the military may offer structure and discipline, but we ask that You reveal the higher calling You have for their life. Higher education is a gift, a tool to equip them for the purposes You’ve ordained, and we pray they would see it as part of Your perfect plan. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them hear Your voice above all others.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion that is causing strife in this home. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:1-3, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’" Father, we ask that You convict this young one of the importance of honoring their mother, not just for her sake, but for their own blessing and protection. Break the hardness in their heart, Lord, and replace it with a spirit of humility and respect.

We also lift up the mother’s heart, which is weighed down with fear and longing. The Word assures us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we ask that You comfort her in this season of uncertainty. Remind her that her children are ultimately Yours, and that You love them even more than she does. Strengthen her faith as she waits on You, and let her rest in the promise of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

We pray for provision and expansion in this home. The request for a larger space is not just about physical comfort, it’s about the peace and unity that comes from having room to breathe, to gather, and to grow together as a family. We stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, open the doors that no man can shut, and provide a dwelling that reflects Your abundance and grace. Let this home be a place where Your presence is felt, where healing takes place, and where Your will is sought above all else.

Father, we also lift up the spiritual condition of these loved ones. If any of them have not surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. The Bible makes it clear in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We ask that You draw them with cords of love, that they would recognize their need for a Savior, and that they would confess Jesus as Lord. Let them experience the transforming power of Your Holy Spirit, and may their lives reflect the fruit of repentance and faith.

We declare over this family that the enemy has no foothold here. We rebuke every spirit of division, confusion, and despair in the name of Jesus. The Word tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand in the authority of Christ, commanding every ungodly influence to leave this home and these lives. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with godly mentors, friends, and counselors who can speak truth and encouragement into their lives. Let them be connected to a body of believers who will walk alongside them, pray for them, and hold them accountable. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne. May Your will be done in this family, and may Your glory be revealed in every situation. We trust You, Lord, and we wait on You with expectation. Amen.

We hear the weight in your words, the ache of watching someone you love so deeply choose a path that fills you with worry, and the longing for a stable, peaceful home to hold it all together. It’s clear how much you care, and it’s that very love that makes this season so hard.

When a young adult is at a crossroads, our influence often shifts from giving direct instructions to shaping the atmosphere we create. Instead of pushing against the military idea, try leaning in with genuine curiosity. Ask open questions about what draws them to it, the adventure, the structure, the chance to serve, or maybe just a desire to prove themselves. Listening without a quick rebuttal can lower their defenses and help them hear their own reasoning out loud. Sometimes that space, more than any argument, lets them rethink things on their own timeline. And in the waiting, your steady presence, calm, prayerful, not panicked, becomes a witness of its own. They are watching how you navigate your trust in God, even when your heart is breaking.

As for the housing need, we couldn’t help but notice that you called a larger home a “mighty miracle.” That takes honest faith. While we wait with you for God’s provision, it may help to quietly explore whatever practical steps are within reach this week, a conversation with a trusted friend about options, or a call to someone who knows the local housing landscape. Small steps keep hope moving.

Lord Jesus, you see this mother’s heart, every fear, every hope, every tear. Wrap her in your peace that doesn’t make sense, but steadies the soul. For this young one at the crossroads, we ask for your Spirit to speak clearly to them. Interrupt any path that would lead them away from your best, and give them ears to hear your voice above all the noise. For this whole family, we ask for your mighty protection and a tangible sense of your guidance. And yes, Lord, we ask you to make a way for a home, a real place of safety and rest and new beginnings. In your mercy, provide what we cannot see yet. We trust you with it all. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen

How plainly must I speak to you of the one way of salvation! The Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” It is trusting in Christ Jesus, Him whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. There is no other name, no other path, no other hope for your loved ones or for that young one at the crossroads. You cry out for open doors of God’s will; I bid you see that the only door is Christ Himself. See Jesus and you have seen salvation. Military service or higher education, neither can save a soul from the wrath to come. Salvation takes a man from under the cloud of divine wrath and reveals to him the divine love. That is the mighty miracle you must first seek. How you describe this child giving you a hard time, would you have your child live to make your home wretched? Such might be the case, but it need not be, if the grace of God should work in that heart. Look to the Lord for that soul, and be wise to look well to your own salvation, too. We are all so apt to forget our own vineyard when we think of others.

I speak to you of a divine salvation, planned in infinite wisdom, procured by the blood of the Lamb, applied by the Spirit’s power. It is without money and without price; you cannot earn it by good works or by a better set of circumstances. Do you ask for a larger home, for cooler peaceful ground? By all means, bring that petition to the Lord, but know that there is a common salvation like a common table, satisfying the mouths of all believers with good things, and by-and-by we shall meet in the same Heaven. Is it well with the child? That question cuts deep, but the answer lies in the soul’s standing before God. Let everything which has made you anxious lead you to begin at home and see to your own salvation, then to plead with God for a household salvation that makes a family rejoice because they are a renewed family.

You say they are all you really have, and you fear losing them to this worldly course. Then do not neglect this great salvation; make it the cry of your heart that they would look to Christ and live. Look! Look! Look! This is the simple method. Salvation is in the Lord Himself, not in outward ordinances, not in our own devices, not in a young person’s chosen career, but in Jesus only. If you would see a mighty miracle, pray that the Spirit would bring home to each of your loved ones the unspeakable importance of their own salvation. When that is settled, their path and your peace will be set by a wisdom higher than your own. I will rejoice in God’s salvation, and I urge you to do the same, even now, as you trust your household into His hands.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer reveals a soul caught in a storm, clinging tightly to what it fears to lose. But consider this: when the righteous approach the end of their trials, God often heightens the struggle, as He did with Abraham, to grant a more glorious victory. Why, then, do you seek only the removal of the conflict? The crossroad your child stands upon is not a calamity but a proving ground. Would you have him choose a path of ease if it leads away from the true kingdom? You ask for higher education and a larger home as if these were the highest goods. But our Lord calls us not to the lower chamber of earthly comfort, but to the spacious, peaceful room above, where Jew and Gentile are reconciled to God. Cut out the root of your anxiety, which is love for the things of this world. If a man stole your money, he would not injure you so long as the treasure above is safe. Yet here you are, vexed over a house of clay and a career of fleeting honor. Learn to despise these, and peace returns.

Do not rush into conflict with the young one, for the apostle teaches us to avoid needless strife and wait upon the Lord’s timing. At home, practice the small, hard virtue of patience in the face of a child’s rebellion; there is your battlefield. Remember that you too were once a child in understanding, needing a father’s steady hand. Model the faith you wish to see, not with threats or weeping, but with a quiet, unshakeable hope. The child is not yours but God’s; entrust him to the Father, who loves him more than you can imagine. Whether he enters the military or continues his studies matters little, if he learns to fight under Christ’s banner. Strive to guide his soul, not his resume.

And that prayer for a larger house, a miracle of restoration? The true home is not built with hands. Do you seek a mansion below while the heavenly one stands ready? The patriarchs dwelt in tents, looking for a city whose builder is God. Cease gazing at the walls that close you in, and fix your eyes on Bethlehem’s inn, where the Bread of Life lay in a manger. There you will find the Son of God, and with trembling joy you will learn that He is your portion. Ask instead for a heart enlarged to receive His will, and you will dwell in peace, regardless of the roof above you. Then, when your earthly conflicts mirror those of Paul and the saints, you will see they are not signs of abandonment but the very path to glory.
