Please Pray for the Judges

Please raise your voices in prayer and asking the Lord to intervene. The appeal hearing for the convicted professor was heard. The three new judges are going to release their decision this Wednesday. Please pray earnestly that the Lord will intervene and that the appeal will be dismissed. This convicted professor is dangerous to women. His victims are also praying that his conviction will stand. Thank you for standing with us in prayer. God hears your prayers. May God bless you and your family!

We join with you in lifting this urgent matter before the throne of grace and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you and with these victims in prayer. We hear the weight of this request and the concern for justice and for the safety of women, and we bring it before the Lord together.

The Scriptures teach us that God cares deeply about justice and that He has appointed judges and governing authorities to carry it out. We are told to defend the weak and the oppressed, Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17 and also Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Psalm 82:3-4. The Lord desires that justice be done without partiality or bribery, for we read You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous. Deuteronomy 16:19. We are also reminded that the authority is a servant of God to you for good, but if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain, for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. Romans 13:4.

We pray earnestly for these three judges who will release their decision this Wednesday. We ask the Father to give them wisdom, clarity, courage, and integrity, that they would judge righteously and not be swayed by pressure, eloquence, or manipulation, but would discern the truth and uphold what is right. We pray that if the conviction is just, it will stand, and that the appeal will be dismissed according to the truth and the evidence. We pray for protection over women and over every potential victim, that the Lord would be a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble Psalm 9:9, and that no further harm would be allowed. We lift up the victims who are praying, that God would comfort them, strengthen them, heal their wounds, and let them know that He has heard their cries and that He sees and He will act, for we know that When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous. Proverbs 21:15.

We also pray that even the convicted man would be brought to a place of truth and repentance before God, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, yet we also pray that justice would not be withheld where it is due, for the Lord loves righteousness and justice.

We want to gently encourage you that you have asked the Lord to intervene and have spoken of God hearing prayer, and we rejoice in that faith. We want to remind us all that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers come before Him. We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus as we pray together.

So we pray together in Jesus name, Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to intervene in this appeal hearing. We ask You to guide the hearts and minds of these three judges, to give them discernment to see the truth clearly and to rule with impartial and godly justice. We ask that if this conviction is righteous, You would cause it to stand and that the appeal would be dismissed. We ask You to protect women from harm and to be a defender and healer to those who have been victimized. Bring comfort, peace, and restoration to them, and let them feel Your presence and Your justice. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and let righteousness prevail. We trust that You are the perfect Judge who sees all and will do what is right. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We thank you for your faithfulness to intercede for justice. We will continue to keep this decision and all those affected in prayer, trusting that the Lord who loves justice Micah 6:8 will accomplish His perfect purpose.

We are grateful you brought this before us and that you are standing with these women as they wait for Wednesday. Carrying this kind of burden while a decision is pending is exhausting, especially when safety is on your hearts.

We join you in asking God for wisdom and clarity for each of the three judges as they weigh what they heard, and for courage for the victims who have already shown such strength in speaking the truth. It means a lot that they are not carrying this alone, and that you and others are holding them up in prayer and presence this week.

In these days of waiting it can help to stay close in simple, steady ways, checking in with the victims, letting them know they are not alone, and giving them space to share or to rest as they need. If any of them are feeling overwhelmed, gently encouraging connection with a trusted pastor, counselor or advocate alongside prayer can be a steady support.

Father, we bring these judges before You and ask for discernment and a just decision rooted in truth. We ask for Your protection over women in this community and for Your peace and strength for each victim as they wait. Comfort them, uphold their dignity, and let them feel Your nearness. We trust this matter to Your justice and mercy in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We join you in earnest prayer before the throne of grace and have heard your burden with deep concern.

You have asked rightly, for ye that love the Lord must hate evil, and to hate evil is to desire that justice be done and that the innocent be protected. We will pray that the Lord will give to these three judges wisdom, clarity and courage to judge righteously, that they may weigh all that is true and not be turned aside from the right path. We will ask the Lord to intervene according to His perfect justice and mercy, that what is evil may be restrained and what is true may stand.

We will also pray for the victims, that the Lord who is near to the brokenhearted will grant them peace, strength and assurance that they are heard and not forgotten. May they know that the righteous acts of the Lord are not hidden, and that He is a refuge for those who are oppressed. May the Lord comfort them in this time of waiting and uphold them through every trial.

We pray too that evil would be put away and that the spread of righteousness would prevail in our land, for there is nothing that so drives back darkness as the proclamation and practice of what is right before God. And while we pray that the conviction would stand if it be just, we also pray that the guilty, where there is guilt, may be brought to see his sin and to seek the mercy which is found only in Jesus Christ, for Christ alone is the way of salvation.

Be assured that we are standing with you in prayer for Wednesday and beyond, asking that the Lord's will be done and that His justice and protection be made manifest. May the Lord hear our united cries and grant His peace to you and to all who love His name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer before the Lord in this urgent matter and we stand with the victims who seek justice.

We have heard that the appeal of this convicted man has been heard and that three judges will give their decision on Wednesday. We pray earnestly that the Lord will intervene and guide those judges. Scripture teaches us that God is a God of righteousness and justice, and that even the courts and judgment seats we see in this world are under His ordinance. As we are reminded in the homilies, there is a regard for justice among men in houses and marketplaces and cities, and how much more with God whose righteousness is like the great mountains.

We pray that these three judges will be given wisdom and clarity and courage to judge rightly, that they will see the evidence clearly and not be swayed by fine words or clever arguments, but by truth. We ask that if it is according to justice and for the protection of others, the appeal will be dismissed and the conviction will stand.

We also pray for the women who have been harmed, that the Lord will bring them comfort and healing and peace, and that they will know they are heard and not forgotten. We pray for their safety and for the safety of all women who could be at risk, and that the Lord will restrain evil.

We pray that truth will prevail in that courtroom and that the decision will reflect what is just and right. May the Lord give you peace as you wait, and may He establish justice for those who have suffered.

We continue to hold you and the victims and the judges before the throne of grace. May God grant justice, mercy, and protection, and may He bless you and your family and keep you in His care.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for asking others to stand with you in prayer. We are joining you in asking the Lord to intervene as these three judges consider this appeal.

Scripture teaches that the fear of the Lord is the starting place of wisdom, and that true wisdom comes only from God. Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly and He is a shield to them, keeping the path of justice and guarding the way of His people. When Solomon was given the opportunity to ask for anything, he did not ask for riches or fame or victory over enemies, but for wisdom to judge rightly, and God was pleased with that request and honored it.

That is our prayer for these judges. We are asking that God would grant them wisdom that is not earthly or sensual, which leads only to confusion and strife, but wisdom from above. That wisdom is first pure, then peaceable and gentle, willing to listen, full of mercy and good fruit. The wisdom of this world often misses God entirely and comes to nothing, but in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He can give clear discernment to those who seek Him as one would seek for silver or hidden treasure.

We are praying that the judges will be given that kind of discernment, that they will see the facts clearly, weigh the evidence with integrity, and be delivered from any flattery, pressure, or forward reasoning that would turn them from what is right. Scripture says that wisdom delivers from the evil person and protects the vulnerable, and we are asking the Lord to use these judges to uphold what is just and to protect women from harm.

We are also praying for the victims who are carrying this pain and waiting for this decision. May the Lord comfort them, strengthen them, and let them know He sees them and hears their cries. May He preserve them and give them peace as they trust Him with the outcome.

We join you in asking that if it is consistent with truth and justice, the conviction would stand and the appeal would be dismissed, and that the decision the judges release would reflect righteousness and protect the community. We trust that God hears the prayers of His people and that He will act according to His perfect justice and mercy.

May the Lord grant you peace as you wait, and may He bless you and your family as you continue to seek Him.
