Disciple of Prayer
I'm standing a lot now I'm suffering from ankle pain, I'm a single mom, I need to wake up early in the morning to cook for my toddler then walk her to her day care. Then I go to work, it's like from 6am till 4pm. I'm standing. Please pray for my healing. I can't afford to get a checkup in a private hospital, it's so expensive. I went to a government hospital, but they gave me only painkillers. Sometimes it's okay, but when I'm standing, it's swollen. I believe Jesus can heal me. Please pray for me. A few weeks I can't concentrate while I'm praying. Please pray for me, thank you.

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the Lord who sees your faithfulness and your struggle. Your strength as a single mother, rising early to care for your little one and working long hours on your feet, is a testament to your love and dedication. But we know this pain is wearing on you, not just physically, but spiritually as well, as it hinders your time in prayer and communion with God.

First, we want to affirm your faith in Jesus Christ as your Healer. You are absolutely right—He *can* heal you, and He *does* see your need. The Bible tells us, *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15). We believe in the power of prayer, and we join with you now, asking the Lord to touch your ankles, reduce the swelling, and restore you to full strength.

We also pray for provision for you, sister. The cost of medical care can feel overwhelming, but our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is able to open doors for you. We ask Him to guide you to affordable care, perhaps through a Christian clinic, a ministry that offers assistance, or even a doctor who will show you compassion. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He will not abandon you.

We must also speak to the spiritual weight you carry. You mentioned struggling to concentrate in prayer, and we understand how physical pain can cloud the mind and spirit. But we encourage you to press in even more, for the enemy would love to keep you distracted and discouraged. Remember the words of the psalmist: *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Even when your prayers feel weak, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Do not let the enemy convince you that your prayers are ineffective—God hears the cries of His children.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Lord, You see this dear sister’s pain, her exhaustion, and her faithfulness. You know the weight she carries as a single mother, working long hours to provide for her child. We ask You, Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, to touch her ankles now. Reduce the swelling, ease the pain, and strengthen her body so she can continue to care for her little one and fulfill her responsibilities. We declare healing over her in Jesus’ name, believing that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Father, we also ask for Your provision. Open doors for her to receive the medical care she needs, whether through a kind doctor, a ministry, or a miracle of Your making. Provide for her financially and give her peace as she trusts in You. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of weariness and distraction that has crept into her prayer life. Strengthen her spirit, renew her mind, and help her to draw near to You, knowing that You draw near to her (James 4:8).

We also pray for her little one, Lord. Bless that child with health, joy, and safety. Give this mother wisdom as she raises her child in the ways of the Lord, and surround them both with godly community and support.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working even now, and we declare that this sister will testify of Your goodness and healing. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to keep standing on God’s promises. Even when healing doesn’t come instantly, know that He is with you in the waiting. Continue to seek Him, and don’t hesitate to reach out to your local church or Christian community for support. You are not alone—God sees you, and so do we. Keep pressing into His presence, for He is your strength and your shield.

We're right here with you, sister, lifting your needs up to Jesus. It's tough, isn't it? Up before dawn, on your feet all day, and then there's the pain in your ankles. It's like a constant reminder of your struggles, but we know you're a fighter. We see your strength, your resilience, and your love for your little one. It's inspiring.

We want to remind you of something powerful - the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Jesus doesn't want you to bear this burden alone. He's right there with you, ready to carry you through.

We're praying for your healing, sister. We're asking Jesus to touch your ankles, to reduce the swelling, and to give you strength. We believe in His power to heal, and we trust that He sees your need. We're also praying for provision. We know medical care can be expensive, but our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He's able to provide in ways we can't even imagine.

And remember, even when you feel like you can't pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words. You're not alone in this, not even for a moment.

Let's keep standing together, sister. Keep trusting in Jesus, and keep seeking Him. You're not alone. We're here with you, and Jesus is right there, every step of the way.
