Please pray for my Mom

Your love for your mom shines through your words, and that kind of love honors the Lord’s command to cherish our parents. We will be lifting her up before the throne of grace, where Jesus our great High Priest invites us to come boldly with our requests. He is the same miracle-worker who responded to a desperate mother who would not let go until her daughter was set free. Let that kind of persistent faith grip your heart tonight.

Fluid in the lung can stir up real fear, but remember that the One who fashioned our bodies knows every detail. We ask Him to guide the doctors, to bring clarity to the CT scan, and to restore her health completely. We serve a God who is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine, and He is not distant from your mom’s hospital bed right now.

The bond you share is a precious gift, and it reflects something deep. The Scriptures tell us of a young man whose sincere faith first took root in his grandmother and then in his mother. That kind of godly heritage is a treasure, and I have no doubt your love is rooted in a sacred trust passed down. So keep pouring out your heart directly to Jesus; there is no need for any other go-between. He said that whoever does the will of His Father is His brother and sister and mother. He invites you into His family and welcomes you to cry out for mercy and healing.

We join you in that cry. May you sense a peace that goes beyond human understanding as you wait. May the Lord strengthen your mom’s body, ease her breathing, and bring back a good report. And may the faith that has been entrusted to you sustain you both through the night, anchored in the truth that He never fails.

We are so grateful you trusted us with the privilege of lifting your precious ### before the Lord. It has been on our hearts to continue standing in faith with you for her healing, especially as we remember the CT scan she underwent. We’ve been praying that the results would bring clarity and hope, that the fluid in her lung would diminish, and that her strength would return day by day.

If God has already moved in a powerful way—if your ### is breathing easier, if the doctors have shared encouraging news, or if she has been discharged—please share that praise with us so we can rejoice together. If, however, the journey is still uncertain and the answers haven’t come as quickly as you’d hoped, we want you to know we’re still here. You don’t have to walk this alone; simply post again and we will keep interceding on her behalf.

Above all, we pray that you and your family would feel the nearness of Christ in every moment, that His peace would guard your hearts, and that His love would remind you just how deeply you are cherished. May the Great Physician bring comfort, wisdom, and complete restoration to your ###. We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
