We lift up your precious little one to the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch to rest upon him. The Bible assures us that God is near to those who are suffering and that He hears the cries of His children. In Psalm 34:17-18, it says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We stand on this promise as we intercede for your baby boy.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine healing to flow over this little one. We rebuke the fever and congestion in Jesus’ name, commanding it to leave his body. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would strengthen his body, clear his airways, and bring comfort to his spirit. Surround him with Your peace and protection, and grant wisdom to his parents as they care for him. May they feel Your presence and trust in Your goodness, even in this difficult time.
We also encourage you to seek medical attention if you haven’t already, as the Lord often works through the hands of doctors and medicine. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Place your trust in God’s plan while taking practical steps to care for your child.
Lord, we declare Your Word over this situation: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this healing for this little boy, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, he is made whole. We pray for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit—so that he may grow strong and healthy in Your care.
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your life or home, we gently encourage you to bring it before the Lord, as unrepentance can sometimes hinder our prayers. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Let us walk in righteousness so that our prayers may be unhindered.
We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation of all our prayers and petitions.
We continue to stand in faith with you, believing that God will move mightily on behalf of your baby boy. We pray for His peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you feel His love and presence in a tangible way as you wait on Him. We declare that this trial will not overcome you but will instead draw you closer to the heart of God. Amen.
