I am stuck in a toxic workspace where I was required to work on weekends as well...I questioned god a lot about why hed let this happen and also things got very worse ..my colleagues are very toxic in all terms I mean, and so I was requesting for a release from this particular project but they are not letting me go.
This happened thrice and I started questioning god.. whenever I think of work I just cannot imagine / see myself working in this project..I cannot, I keep having insane levels of anxiety and panic attacks and as I type that's what I'm feeling right now.
I politely asked them if they can switch me internally instead.and I'm freaking out again, so my anxiety ..I cannot express
Please pray for me and that I see a miracle and favour from God

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Workplace toxicity is a heavy weight to carry, and your feelings of anxiety and despair are valid, God sees your struggle and collects every tear (Psalm 56:8). You are not alone in questioning why He allows trials, but we must remember that even in the fire, He is refining us for His purpose (1 Peter 1:6-7). The enemy would love to use this situation to steal your peace, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).

First, we must address your relationship with God in this trial. Questioning Him is not sinful, even the psalmists cried out in confusion, but we must not let doubt harden our hearts. Jesus Himself asked, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46) yet still surrendered to the Father’s will. Your frustration is understandable, but let it drive you closer to Him, not away. Have you considered that this trial might be preparing you for something greater? Joseph was sold into slavery and imprisoned before God elevated him to save nations (Genesis 50:20). Your deliverance may be just around the corner, but even if it tarries, God’s timing is perfect.

Now, let us pray for your situation:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting their workplace oppression to Your throne. Lord, You see the toxicity, the unfair demands, and the anxiety that grips their heart. We ask for Your divine intervention, grant them favor with their leaders, open doors for a transfer or release, and silence the voices of those who seek to harm them. Break every chain of fear, Father, and replace their panic with Your perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). If this trial is meant to strengthen their faith, give them endurance; if it is meant to redirect their path, make the way clear. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn this situation for their good (Romans 8:28). Provide them with wisdom to navigate each day, and let them feel Your presence like never before. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We also urge you to take practical steps while trusting God:
1. Document everything, keep records of unreasonable demands, toxic interactions, and your requests for relief. This protects you and may be necessary if escalation is required.
2. Seek godly counsel, speak to a pastor, mentor, or Christian therapist about managing anxiety and discerning God’s will. You should not walk this alone.
3. Set boundaries, if possible, limit engagement with toxic colleagues and focus on your tasks. Pray for them (Matthew 5:44), but do not absorb their negativity.
4. Explore other opportunities, while waiting on God, update your resume and network discreetly. Sometimes deliverance comes through a new door.
5. Guard your heart, do not let bitterness take root. Forgive those who wrong you, for unforgiveness only harms you (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Lastly, we must gently address a concern: your prayer did not mention Jesus. We do not say this to condemn, but to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is not about religion, it is about a relationship with the One who died for your sins and rose again (Romans 10:9). If you are already a believer, renew your commitment to walk closely with Him, for He is your refuge in this storm.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The same God who parted the Red Sea can part the seas of your workplace chaos. Hold fast to His promises, and watch Him move on your behalf. We stand with you in faith, believing for your breakthrough.

Thank you for letting us hear what you’re facing. We’re so sorry you’re caught in such a crushing spot, hours that eat into weekends, colleagues who only seem to make it worse, and that flood of anxiety that hits just when you’re trying to hold on. Feeling trapped and questioning God makes total sense when your mind and body are screaming for relief. We’re praying with you, not as people who have easy answers, but as ones who believe He sees every hidden tear.

We’ve noticed something over the years: God rarely works through one dramatic snap of His fingers to make a painful situation vanish. Often He makes us stronger and wiser step by step, even while the pressure is still on. That doesn’t mean He’s ignoring you, it means His help can show up as courage to do one small, concrete thing today that you couldn’t face yesterday. Right now, that might look like putting a pen to paper and writing down the toxic patterns you’ve endured, not to add to your anxiety, but to give yourself some clarity if you later need to document facts. Could there be one safe person at work, outside your immediate team, with whom you could speak confidentially? Sometimes a calm, trusted voice changes the whole picture.

And please, don’t carry the panic alone. Panic attacks are a real physical and emotional crisis, and talking to a doctor or a Christian counselor is not a failure of faith, it’s caring for the life God gave you. We’re not saying you should rely only on human help, but that God often uses wise professionals as part of His provision.

We lift you up together now. Jesus, bring Your still, deep presence into the terror this one feels. Soothe the racing thoughts and the pounding heart. Give them, right where they sit, wisdom to know the next sane step, and open a way into a healthier space when Your timing is right. Shelter them from despair, and let them sense You holding them steady even before anything changes. In Your name, amen.

Your restless heart has fallen into the snare of questioning the Almighty. That path never yields comfort, only deepening despair. Come back to the truth: anxiety has never fed a single sparrow or added a moment to a man’s life. It unfits you for the trial, magnifies the weakness of your flesh, and drowns out the whisper of Divine sovereignty. Yet know this, the Lord’s release is a reality. He who commands His people to forgive debts and set captives free will surely bring deliverance to you in His own appointed time. But first, I must press this upon your soul: have you received the Lord’s release from your greater debt of sin? Until you rest entirely in the sweet savor of Christ’s merits, all fretting over earthly masters is but a chasing of the wind.

The favor of God is the hope of His people. Do not fix your eyes on toxic colleagues or the stubbornness of men; look instead to the Divine work that goes before you. He will thrust out the enemies that now loom so large. Your panic attacks and trembling nerves are the fruit of unbelief. Will you give way to it when the eternal God has pledged Himself to be your shield? Trials are sent not to crush you but to disclose the gentleness of His supporting hand. When I think of David fleeing Saul, or the sweet interposition that sent Abigail to restrain his folly, I see how tenderly the Lord times every rescue. Even now, He is preparing your release. Cease striving and believe. I shall petition the throne of grace that you may see a miracle of favor, but pray for yourself with this confidence: “He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.” He will deliver you from this project, and better still, from the inward prison of fear.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been laid before the Lord, and I will keep praying for your release from this project and for favor with those who make the decision. The panic and anxiety you feel are a real affliction. Do not despise yourself for it, and do not think God is far off because of it.

But I want to say one careful thing about your questioning. It is not a sin to cry out, yet be careful not to make your faith depend on an immediate miracle. John did no miracle, and still his life shook many cities. Job showed the devil no miracle, but an endurance firmer than adamant. David was young and had no dead raised through his hands, yet God called him a man after his own heart. The greater wonder is not always that the trial is removed, but that a soul remains steadfast inside it.

So I am praying for two requests together. First, that God would grant you the favor you asked for, that the people in authority would release you or move you to another place. Second, that whether the transfer comes quickly or slowly, God would give you such peace that the workplace loses its power to throw you into panic. Paul was in bonds, and his disciples grew bolder because they saw that no chain could bind the preaching. Your soul is not chained to this project unless fear is allowed to hold the key.

Do not wait until the anxiety goes away before you turn to Christ. Turn to him in the middle of the panic. Ask him not only for escape but for his presence in that room. Sometimes he withholds an outward change because he is doing a deeper work in the heart, but he is not indifferent to your affliction.

I will ask him now for a miracle, but I ask you to seek the Miracle Worker more than the miracle. Lord, if it pleases you, open the door for this person to leave or be moved. Give favor with those in authority. If the door remains shut, grant the grace to endure without being destroyed. Quiet the racing heart, loosen the chest, and let your peace stand guard over the mind. In Christ.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are carrying right now. The weight of constant weekend work, a harsh team environment, repeated denials of your request to move, and the panic and anxiety that rise up even as you type is very real, and God sees it.

When we feel trapped under pressure from relationships and work demands, anxiety can flood in. One psalmist found himself asking his own soul why it was so cast down and disturbed, and then he gave himself the answer you need today, hope in God. When God seems distant and you have been asking why He would allow this, the way back to peace is to bring Him back into the center of the equation. The reason anxiety grows so large is often that God has slipped out of view. When you put Him back in, what feels impossible begins to look different, not because the problem shrinks, but because you remember who He is, and remembering the Lord is the cure for fear.

In the story of Nehemiah, when the work was opposed and the people were tired and harassed, he did two things at once. He prayed to God and he set a watch day and night. He also encouraged the people not to be afraid but to remember the Lord. That is a pattern for you as well. Keep praying honestly and keep taking wise, practical steps. Continue to make your request for an internal transfer through the proper channels, keep a clear record of what is required of you, seek godly counsel from a mature believer you trust, care for your body with rest and healthy rhythms where you can, and if panic attacks continue, reach out for help from a pastor and also from a trusted counselor or medical professional. Prayer does not replace practical wisdom, and practical steps without prayer leave you unguarded.

This is also a spiritual battle, and physical effort or argument alone will not win it. God has given you spiritual protection and weapons that are mighty through Him, not through human strength. You can refuse the enemy's harassment, you can stand in the finished work of Jesus Christ by faith, and you can answer fear and accusation with the Word of God. When Jesus was tempted, He answered each attack with what is written. Hide Scripture in your heart and speak it when anxiety rises. His Word cleanses and steadies the mind. You do not need to spend all your energy trying to defend yourself against every toxic word or story around you. That only distracts you and drains you. Entrust your reputation to the Lord and stay focused on walking faithfully where you are while you look for the open door He may provide.

I know the panic feels overwhelming in the moment, as if you cannot imagine staying in this project another day. You do not have to manage everything yourself. You can rest in the Lord and trust that He is able to handle what you cannot. The fact that you face opposition does not mean you have been abandoned or that blessing makes you immune to attacks. The enemy often tries to harass and distract after and even during difficult seasons, but God has given you His Spirit and His Word so you can withstand those attacks and find His peace again.

I am praying for you now, that God in His mercy will grant you favor for a release from this project and, if it is His will, an internal switch to a healthier place. I am asking Him to make a way where there seems to be no way, to give wisdom to those in authority over you, and to guard your heart and mind with His peace that goes beyond understanding. May He quiet your anxiety, steady you when panic rises, and help you moment by moment to remember Him and to hope in Him. May He show you that you are not forgotten, that He is with you day and night, and that your hope is secure in Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and power to stand against every attack. Keep praying, keep taking the next wise step, and keep your eyes on Him.
