Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for your son and for his results and university admission has been lifted up before the Lord, and we join you in asking for God's clear leading for his future.
Scripture often pictures God speaking as a father to a son, urging him to receive instruction and treasure wise teaching in his heart. A son is called to listen to the counsel of his father and not forsake the teaching of his mother, for that instruction becomes like grace upon his life. Wisdom comes when a person inclines the ear to hear it, applies the heart to understand it, and sincerely seeks after knowledge and understanding as something precious. God gave wisdom to Solomon when he asked for it to lead well, and He still gives wisdom generously to all who ask Him for it.
We are praying not only for good results tomorrow, but that your son will seek the wisdom that comes from God above any earthly success. May he learn to receive God's word, hide it in his heart, and let it guide his choices about his studies and his path ahead. True length of days and peace are promised to those who keep God's ways, and the Lord by His wisdom founded the earth and established the heavens, so He is fully able to establish your son's steps.
Remember also that the Lord guides those He loves even as a father guides a son in whom he delights. That fatherly correction and direction is a sign of love, as it is written that the Lord corrects those He receives as sons. Through Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son given for us, we who were under the law may receive adoption as sons, with His Spirit in our hearts. Your son's greatest future is found in knowing that Son and walking as a child of God.
So we ask the Father in Jesus' name to grant favor in these results, to open the right door for admission if it is His will, and to close what is not best. We ask that He give your son a hunger for wisdom, a willingness to be led and corrected by Him, and peace for you both as you trust Him with what comes next. May the Lord make His path clear and draw your son closer to Himself in this season.
