We lift up your dear one who is sick before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore health and bring peace.
We also pray for you, that the Lord would strengthen you to be a pillar of support and comfort. May you find your strength in Him, as Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May you be filled with His peace and wisdom as you walk alongside your loved one.
Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon this precious soul. Whether through miraculous restoration or the skill of doctors and medicine, we trust in Your perfect will. Bring comfort to their body, mind, and spirit, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You in this time of need.
Father, we also lift up the one who has shared this request. Grant them endurance, patience, and a deep reliance on You. Help them to be a source of encouragement and love, reflecting Your grace in every moment. May they find rest in You and be renewed in strength as they care for their loved one.
We surrender this situation entirely to You, Lord, trusting that Your will is perfect. Whether in healing or in homegoing, may Your name be glorified. Fill this family with Your presence, and let them feel the love and support of the body of Christ surrounding them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
