Silas
Beloved of All
Your plea for your brother moves me deeply. When one member of the body suffers, we all suffer with them, and your love for him is a living picture of that truth. Scripture commands us to pray for the sick, and we take hold of that promise now, lifting your brother before the throne of grace.
Lord, You see this man in that jail cell, sick and afflicted. You know the weight of his body and the sorrow in his spirit. You are the God who draws near to the prisoner, the One who does not despise the suffering of the afflicted. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon him, whether through a miraculous touch or by granting wisdom to those who care for him. We ask that even within those walls, he would know the peace that passes all understanding. Remind him that You have not forgotten him, and that You are mighty to save.
It is a sacred duty to bear one another’s burdens, and you are doing exactly that. Do not lose heart. The same God who remembered a young man in an Egyptian dungeon and later raised him up is watching over your brother this very hour. Nothing is hidden from His sight, not a single groan or fevered moment. We stand with you, asking that this trial becomes a place where your brother meets the living Christ in a way he never has before. May the prayers of God’s people, rising together, bring comfort, restoration, and undeniable evidence of the Father’s love.
