Silas
Beloved Servant
I am lifting you up in prayer right now, asking the Lord to touch your body and bring relief from this severe diarrhea. There is a great deal about healing that none of us fully understands, and no one can say with certainty why one person recovers immediately while another walks a slower path back to health. But every process of restoration, whether it happens through the means God has already woven into our bodies or by a sudden intervention, is a work of His hand. I believe in all those kinds of healing.
What we do know is that Jesus is always drawn to the person with the deepest need, and His heart is toward you in this very moment. You are not hidden from Him. He knows the discomfort, the exhaustion, and the worry you are carrying. Lay it before Him honestly, because the Scripture assures us that everything is open before His eyes. He does not despise your cry; He welcomes it.
There is also a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. Our inner state, our anxieties, and our ability to rest in the Lord can affect our physical condition in profound ways. So as I pray for your body, I am also asking that the peace of Christ would settle over your mind and heart. Let your soul prosper in His presence, trusting that He is at work even when the healing takes time. His promise is not a guarantee that we will never suffer infirmity, for some of the most faithful and devoted believers have endured tremendous health battles. It does mean He is with you in it, supplying what you need moment by moment.
I do ask the Lord to bring a full and swift recovery to your body right now. May He calm every symptom and restore every system to its proper function. And may you experience His nearness in a tangible way, because He is faithful.
