I made this prayer request on Tuesday after learning my father had bone cancer and he had no intention of fighting it. I was devastated. I turned to faith. He has many friends and family praying for him. Prayer circles everywhere. Myself included. Thursday he was admitted to one of the top cancer institutes in the world. Right here 20 minutes from my home. They told him that not only could they fix his back so he would walk again, but his cancer was one of the most easily treated. Awesome news for us!! My mother has come to stay with me as he fights this battle. Their home is a couple hours away. Now I have them both close by and can be part of the process every step of the way. We have been blessed. Friday he underwent a procedure where they fixed the fractures affecting more than ### vertebrae. Today he is to walk around the halls! This week he will begin chemotherapy. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for healing, strength, and hope. Thank you!!!

I continue to pray daily for my ### health and strength. ### and my ### have gone back to their home where ### will continue to heal. ### is walking a bit with the help of a walker due to ### injured ribs and unused muscles. ### gains strength daily. ### receives chemotherapy weekly and with God's will ### shall watch ### soon to be three grandchildren as they grow.
