Please pray for my family

My family is about to embark on a new journey that could possibly lead to a better life, but there is a woman who wishes evil and has tried to separate us many times. All I ask, is that you pray in Jesus name with me, that that woman is not allowed to accompany us on our journey and that she stays away. I wish her no harm, may she find any success she wishes, just away from us. Please in Jesus name, thank you.

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer, lifting your family up before the Lord. What a blessing it is to see God opening a door for a new chapter in your lives, one that promises hope and a better future. We rejoice with you in this opportunity and ask the Lord to go before you, making your path straight and your steps firm in His will.

The enemy seeks to divide and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). This woman who has sought to bring division and strife is operating under the influence of darkness, whether she realizes it or not. We rebuke the spirit of division in Jesus’ name and command it to flee from your family. The Lord is your shield and your fortress, and no harm shall come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that God would erect a hedge of protection around your family, that this woman would be unable to interfere with or accompany you on this journey. May the Lord turn her heart away from you and toward His own purposes for her life, so that she may find peace and success apart from your family, as you have asked.

Father, we ask that You would bind the hands of the enemy in this situation. Let no scheme or plot against this family succeed, for You are the God who frustrates the plans of the wicked (Psalm 33:10). We pray that this woman would encounter Your love and truth, that she may be transformed by Your grace and no longer operate in ways that bring harm to others. May she find her fulfillment in You alone, and may Your will be done in her life, just as it is being done in the lives of this family.

We also ask that You would unite this family in love, faith, and purpose. Strengthen their bonds with one another and with You, Lord. May they walk in unity, keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this new journey, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and know that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this family step boldly into the future You have prepared for them, free from the influence of those who seek to harm them. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this, and we hear the weight behind your words, the hope for a fresh start for your family, and the real anxiety that someone who has tried to pull you apart before might somehow disrupt it again. That’s a heavy thing to carry into a new season, and we’re grateful you let us share it.

Your heart is already in a good place: you don’t wish this woman harm, only that she stays away. That’s honest and upright, and it clears the way for God to handle her as He sees fit while you simply focus on the road ahead with your family. We can pray confidently for His protection over your journey, not because we can predict exactly how He’ll do it, but because He is a Father who guards His children’s steps and knows every hidden snare.

As you wait and watch, don’t let the fear of what she might do steal the joy of the blessing God is placing before you. Sometimes the best defense is simply to move forward hand in hand with those you love, refusing to give a troublemaker any more space in your thoughts. If she has no foothold in your mind, she has far less power to unsettle you.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this family to You. You see the woman who has tried to divide them, and You know every motive and every scheme. We ask that You would keep her entirely separate from this new journey, not with harm, but with a firm boundary they cannot breach. Surround this family with Your peace; let no weapon formed against their unity prosper. Give them wisdom and steady hearts, and when fear tries to creep back, remind them that they are held safely in Your hand. Lead them into the better life You have for them, together and unshaken. Amen.

The prayer of the upright is His delight, and when two or three agree touching anything, it shall be done. I will therefore unite with you in earnest supplication, that the Almighty may rebuke this troubler of your peace and cause her to abide far from your path. You have shown a right spirit in wishing her no ill, but only that she find her way elsewhere; this is according to the mind of Christ, who bids us bless them that curse us. Yet it is no sin to pray for protection, for our Lord Himself taught us to cry, "Deliver us from evil." Let us then plead with energy that the God of peace may bruise Satan under your feet shortly, and that this journey, which holds such hope of better things, may be undertaken under the shadow of the Most High. I have often found that the simplest prayer, "Lord, help me," is a mighty weapon, and I commend it to you. Go forward, and as you go, whisper the name of Jesus, for at that name every knee shall bow, and those who oppose themselves shall be scattered. Your request is heard. You do well to seek prayer in Jesus' name, for He is our deliverer from every evil work. Remember how the Apostle Paul declared, "The Lord delivered me from the lion's mouth, and will deliver me from every evil work." He does not promise to spare us from every trial, but He delivers us from sin and condemnation, turning the malice of the wicked into an occasion for virtue to shine brighter. When the devil stirs up enemies against us, it is not for our ruin but for our crown, if we endure with righteousness. The three children thrown into the furnace became more illustrious, and Daniel in the lion's den was made more renowned. So I urge you, do not let anxiety or hatred rule your heart. You have already said you wish her no harm, this is good. Pray for her repentance, that she may find whatever true success God wills for her, but far from you. There is a good division when we separate ourselves from those bent on evil, just as we cut off an infected limb for the body's sake. It is no sin to ask that she be kept away from your journey.

Let us pray: Lord Jesus Christ, Light of the world, who prayed that we be kept from the evil one, look upon this family. Protect them from every snare and deliver them from the malice set against them. If it be Your will, let this woman not accompany their way, but turn her heart to what is good. Grant them peace, let their conduct be blameless, and use even this trial to make their faith more radiant. May they walk in newness of life, adorned with good works, and receive the full adoption as sons, free from sin. In Your holy name we ask. Amen.

Now go, keeping your tongue from guile and your lips from speaking evil. Seek peace and pursue it, trusting that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him.
