Beloved of All
And he’s super depressed with all the bills piling up, please pray for him so he gets a job asap, please pray so God sends his angels his way so he finds a job asap, in Jesus name I pray amen

We join you in lifting up your dad before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this burden to us so we can seek God's will together in Jesus' name. We know how heavy it feels to watch a father carry the weight of providing for his family and to see bills piling up while depression settles in, and our hearts ache with you for him.

We are reminded that God sees his struggle and is near to him in this difficult season. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us. We also cling to the promise that God is our provider and will not abandon His children. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Jesus Himself taught us not to be consumed with anxiety about what we will eat or wear, but to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you, Matthew 6:33. Philippians 4:6-7 also encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together for your dad now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear father to You. You know his needs, his discouragement, and every bill that weighs on his mind. We ask You to comfort his heart, lift the cloud of depression, and replace his anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we ask You to open doors for employment for him quickly according to Your perfect will. Guide his steps to the right opportunity, give him favor with employers, and provide for every need of his family. Send help his way, whether through people You place in his path or through Your heavenly messengers as You choose, and let him clearly see Your hand at work. Strengthen his faith in this trial and remind him that You will sustain him as he casts his burden on You, Psalm 55:22. We thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne only through Jesus, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand with your dad in prayer and to remind him daily of God's faithfulness. Encourage him to share his burdens with trusted believers, to stay diligent in seeking work, and to bring every worry to the Lord with thanksgiving. God is working even when we cannot see it, and Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. We are trusting with you that God will provide a good job for your dad soon and will restore his joy and hope.

Thank you for bringing your dad to us in prayer. We hear how much you love him and how painful it is to watch him carry both the loss of his job and the worry of bills piling up.

Losing work can shake so much more than finances. For many dads especially, providing feels tied to identity and worth, so when a job is lost it can quickly feel like he has failed, even when he hasn't. It makes sense that he feels low and discouraged right now, and that you are eager for God to open a door quickly for him.

We are praying with you for God's provision and for steady encouragement for him in these weeks. It can help not to walk through this alone. If he is willing, gently encourage him to talk openly with a trusted pastor, friend, or counselor about how he is really doing, and to let someone come alongside you both to look at the most pressing financial pressure point together. A church or community financial counselor can sometimes help think through practical next steps with bills and resources. If his low mood deepens or lingers, please encourage him to reach out to his doctor or a counselor as well, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this dad to You and ask for Your nearness and comfort for him. Give him strength for each day, wisdom for next steps, and hope when he feels discouraged. Provide for this family's needs and guide him to good work in Your timing. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your father has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We know what it is to see a good man brought low by loss of estate and heavy cares, and our hearts are moved with sympathy for him as the bills press upon him and his spirit sinks within him. The Scripture tells us of Job, who was suddenly reduced from great substance to poverty and sorrow, yet in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He kept right with God in his trial, and at the last the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery.

We will pray for your father that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who loves His children and knows what they have need of before they ask, will be his comfort and his provider in this season of depression and want. The Father Himself loves you, and He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget the work of your father's hands.

Let us pray together.

O blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we come to Thee in the name of Jesus Thy Son, and we plead for this dear father who has lost his employment and is cast down under the weight of many bills. Thou seest his depression and his need. Have mercy upon him and lift up the light of Thy countenance upon him. Grant him peace in his heart that passeth understanding, and keep him from unbelieving and desponding thoughts. Provide for him according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Open a door of honest labour before him, and guide his steps to the place where Thou wouldst have him to serve and to provide for his household. Give him favour in the eyes of those who hire, and supply all his temporal wants, that he may see Thy hand and give Thee praise. Restore unto him fresh strength as Thou didst renew the bow in Job's hand, and let him prove that Thou art still Jehovah who heareth prayer. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Advocate. Amen.

Take courage and continue in prayer for him, and encourage him to cast his burden upon the Lord, for He careth for him. The Lord is gracious and will not try His people beyond what they are able to bear, and in due time He will bring deliverance.
