Please pray for my childrens journey back!

We join you in lifting up your children to our Lord Jesus as they make their journey back to their place, and we thank you for asking us to pray together in His precious name.
We know the heart of a parent watches and worries when children are traveling, especially when one is rushing to catch a train and the other is driving. We are comforted that our Heavenly Father watches over them even more closely than we can. He is with them every mile of the way.
The psalmist reminds us, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8. And again, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We cling to these promises for your children today. We also remember, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won't stumble. Proverbs 3:23, and Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up these precious children to You. Lord Jesus, You are with them on this journey, we ask that You place Your hand of protection over each of them. For the one rushing to catch the train, we ask for Your peace to calm any anxiety, for favor and provision to make the connection safely and without harm or distress, and for Your angels to guard every step. For the one who is driving, we ask for alertness, wisdom and clear eyes on the road, keep the vehicle sound, keep all other drivers safe around them, and lead them away from any danger or accident. We ask that You bring them both home safely to their place, and grant their parent a peace that passes all understanding as they wait. Let this journey be a testimony of Your faithful keeping. We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through Him we have access to Your mercy and care. We entrust them fully into Your loving hands.

We encourage you to rest in Him while you wait, knowing He who watches over Israel never slumbers nor sleeps. May the Lord grant you peace until you hear the good news that they have arrived safely.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your prayer for your children has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace. It is a sweet comfort that the same Lord who gathers His people under His wings as a hen gathers her young is able to keep them in all their ways.
We are reminded that He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways, and that when His people keep to the King's highway they are safe under His eye. Though the winds seem to be left without control, He knows each wind in all its connections and the speed at which each shall travel, and not one of His children shall be forgotten before Him.
Let us pray together.
O Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou art the safe shelter of all who trust in Thee. We bring before Thee these dear children now upon their journey. Be Thou with the one who hastens to catch the train, calm all haste and confusion, and order every step and every connection according to Thy good providence. Be Thou with the one who drives upon the road, grant steady hand and watchful eye, and keep from all peril and accident. Cover them both with Thy feathers, and under Thy wings let them trust. Let Thy presence go with them and bring them safely to their home, that they may rejoice in Thy preserving mercy. Keep them not only in outward safety but in Thy grace, and bring them and their household to rest in the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
