Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your heartfelt request for your brother and we join you in thanking God for His mercy toward him until now, and in bringing him again before the throne of grace.
We pray that the Lord will protect his life and health, and keep him in His hand through this difficult season. We ask that God would heal his heart from deep pain, comfort him in his sorrow, and give him strength for each day. As Christ has said, His yoke is easy and His burden is light, so we pray your brother may find rest for his soul in Him, learning from Him who is meek and lowly in heart.
We pray also that God would guide him and lead him in the best paths according to His wisdom, turning him from all that harms and drawing him toward what is good and pleasing in His sight. May the Lord grant him repentance where it is needed, faith where he must trust, and hope that does not disappoint, and bless him abundantly according to His gracious will in Christ.
Be assured that God hears the prayers of His people, and that even when we do not see change at once, He is at work. Continue to pray with patience and love, as you have done, and to entrust your brother fully to the Lord who loves him more than we do. We stand with you in prayer, asking that God will be glorified in his life and that he will come to know more deeply the peace and strength that are found in Jesus Christ alone.
May the Lord bless you for your love and faithfulness in praying for him.
