Your back pain has been lingering, and it’s no wonder your heart feels heavy. When discomfort settles in day after day, stress can easily tighten its grip, making both body and mind feel like they’re carrying a weight too great to bear. But the same Jesus who stilled storms and opened blind eyes hears every whispered prayer for healing. He cares for you intimately, even in this ache.
There is a right way to bring our needs before the Lord, and it isn’t by frantic striving or letting fear crowd out hope. David learned that lesson when he tried to move the ark of God on a new cart, his desire was good, but the method wasn’t what God had commanded. Later he did it properly, with reverence and order, and joy rushed back into the nation. In the same way, bring your back, your anxious thoughts, everything, not on a cart built of worry, but laid quietly at His feet. His name, Jesus, is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Power resides in that name. When Peter stood before the healed man, he made it plain: it was by the name of Jesus that wholeness came.
So let your mind rest there. Stress only feeds the fire, but you can pour out your concerns before Him and let His peace stand guard over your heart. He restores what has been lost. He gives back what the enemy tries to steal, whether health, joy, or a settled spirit. Nothing is beyond His reach, and no pain has escaped His notice. I am praying for you now, that the healing power of Jesus flows through your spine, nerves, and muscles, and that your mind finds relief from every anxious cycle. May you experience that complete healing you’ve been longing for, body and soul, in the mighty name of Jesus.
