Please pray that my back pain stops

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The cry for bodily relief is the cry of our common nature, for no one loves pain. Yet understand that the body's scourge is often the medicine of the soul. God, the excellent physician, does not always hasten to remove the affliction, but uses the infirmity of the inferior part to heal the superior. For when the soul is diseased, we feel no pain; but let the body receive a little hurt, and we run to every exertion to be free. Thus, the well-spring of our bodily ills is frequently the wickedness of the soul. Let us do away with that spring, and the channels of our diseases will be stayed.

Look at the paralytic who waited thirty-eight years. He saw others delivered each year while he remained bound, a situation sufficient to produce not only despondency for the past but hopelessness for the future. Yet even so, he did not fall back and despair. He did not curse his day or blaspheme, but with great mildness told his sufferings to the Lord and waited. How much more comfort should you receive from his example in a trial that has not been so long? The divine oracles are a treasury of all manner of medicines. From them, one who is nailed to a grievous disease may find abundant resource to inspire confidence and gain patience.

Consider also the nature of the body itself. Why enfeeble it with luxury and exhaust its strength with self-indulgence? The fat of soft living is not strength but flabbiness, the very ground from which diseases spring. A body ruined by such a delicate life produces low spirits and constant pain. The bloom of health, and even true beauty, is found in a good habit of body, not in the diseases that luxury breeds. So, for the sake of the body itself, flee whatever weakens it.

Now, hear the word of Christ to the man He had made whole: "Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." A fearful thing is sin, the ruin of the soul, whose mischief oftentimes overflows and attacks the body. Receive the healing of the soul, and the body's deliverance will follow according to His will. If He delays, it is not cruelty but a healing treatment, lest, being released too quickly from the ground of your evils, you block the way to a lasting cure. A sickness of the body is grievous, but it is not the greatest mischief. The crowning point of evils is the soul that does not even feel pain for its own growing diseases. Therefore, whether He speaks the word and you are made whole at once, or whether He permits the scourge to remain for a time as a cleansing fire, do you reply with the paralytic's gentle and trusting heart: "Yea, Lord."

The request for prayer over back pain and bodily disease is one that finds a ready ear in our Lord. Those who suffer in this way know the kind of unrelenting ache that can dominate thought and drain the spirit. Let us bring this burden to Jesus, with a full heart.

We must remember that when Jesus walked among us, He healed every kind of sickness and disease. That public ministry was a sign of His kingdom and a fulfillment of the prophet’s words: "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses." This points to a profound truth. While all healing is precious, the ultimate healing from sin was secured at the cross, and the physical brokenness we experience in this life is temporary. His power is not diminished.

Understanding how healing works today requires wisdom. There is much I cannot explain. I do not know why some are restored completely in a moment while others, like Paul with his thorn in the flesh, are given sustaining grace to endure. Paul prayed three times, and the answer was not the removal of the affliction but the sufficiency of God’s strength. To presume that it is always God’s will to heal in every single case is not what Scripture consistently shows us. This does not mean we do not ask, and ask boldly. It means we trust His answer.

I believe strongly in healing, and I believe it comes in many forms. Any process by which the body recovers is divine, for God created the intricate systems of repair within us. A gradual healing, over days or weeks, is still His healing hand at work. There are also healings of the mind and emotions, where the Lord removes fear and replaces it with peace, even before the physical situation changes. Often, our greatest lack is not in His willingness to act, but in our capacity to receive, shaped as we are by a materialistic culture that struggles to trust in the unseen.

I pray for a complete cessation of this back pain and for the full healing of the body from the disease that is causing it. I pray the Lord's compassion would grant relief and restoration, just as He was moved by the grief of suffering loved ones. And I ask that in the waiting, there would be a healing of the heart, a freedom from anxiety and a powerful sense of His presence. May you know that He is near, holding back nothing of His love for you, even when the path is hard to understand.
