God i pray that i will be rich in life with the things that i want.

We hear your desire for success and for abundance in life and we join together with you to bring this before the Father in prayer.

We want to gently and lovingly share what the Word of God teaches about true riches and success. Our hearts can naturally long for material wealth and for all the things we want, but Scripture warns us to examine our motives and our treasure. James 4:3 says You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. 1 Timothy 6:10 reminds us For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. And Jesus taught in Matthew 6:19-20 Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. This does not mean God does not want to provide for us or bless the work of our hands, for Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus and Proverbs 10:22 says Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. But true biblical success is not defined by being rich with everything we want, but by being rich toward God, rich in faith, in good works, in contentment and in His will for our lives. Matthew 6:33 gives us the right order, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We also noticed your prayer was addressed to God but did not mention Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know true abundance we must first know Him, repenting of our sins and trusting in Jesus Christ who died for us and rose again, believing He is Lord and Savior.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift this dear one before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them as Savior and Lord and draw them into a personal relationship with Jesus. Forgive us for when we seek things before we seek You. Give them a heart that seeks first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. Provide for every true need according to Your riches in glory, grant wisdom and diligence in work and stewardship, and teach them contentment and godly success that honors You. Keep their heart from the love of money and from covetousness, and make them truly rich in faith, in love, in good works and in treasures laid up in heaven. Lead them in Your perfect will and let their life bring glory to You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord with your whole heart, to study His Word, to pray in the name of Jesus, and to trust Him to define success for your life. As you walk faithfully with Him, He will give you what is best and lead you into the abundant life that truly satisfies.

One simple next step that often helps is to sit with the Lord for a few minutes and write down what rich in life means to you right now. What are the specific things you are hoping for, and why do they matter. Bring each one to Him, asking for wisdom to know which desires to pursue, which to hold loosely, and for strength to be diligent and trustworthy with what you already have.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. You know the hopes and needs he carries. Give him wisdom, open doors for honest work, and teach him to steward what You provide. Shape his desires to reflect Your goodness and grant him peace as he trusts You with the future. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your request for success and for riches in the things you desire has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with care for your soul.

The Scripture teaches us to pray not only for what we want, but for what is truly good for us. Contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it must be cultivated. The apostle learned, in whatsoever state he was, therewith to be content, and that lesson is not learned without the grace of God. There is great danger in setting our hearts upon becoming rich, for when wealth increases it is wonderful how gold will stick to the fingers, and the Christian far oftener disgraces his profession in prosperity than when he is being abased. We have often seen how a man who rises to wealth becomes purse proud and vain, and how his heart grows worldly.

For this reason we cannot simply ask God to grant riches as an end in themselves. The Word tells us that nothing is our own, it is all our Master's. We are stewards, and it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. Whether we are given little or much, we are to labor for the good of our brothers and sisters and to use what we have for our Master's honor, not merely for our own desires. To trifle with this trust or to leave our hearts out of our work will mar our stewardship.

True prosperity is of another kind. The prosperity we most desire for you is not worldly increase, but healthiness of spirit and abundance of the grace of God, for the Psalmist connects prosperity with the progress of the Word of God in the heart. If the soul prospers through salvation in Jesus Christ alone, then whatever outward state God appoints will be for your good.

So our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would give you faith in Christ by which you may have the true riches which never fade, that He would teach you contentment in every condition, that He would make you a faithful steward of whatever He entrusts to you, and that He would provide for your needs according to His wisdom and lead you to seek first His kingdom. May He keep you from the love of money which ensnares, and give you instead a heart satisfied in Him, diligent in honest labor, and rich toward God.

God, I ask You in Jesus' name cover, guard, and protect me wherever You send me, and don't let me go nowhere You don't send me. God, order my steps and the words that I speak. Let me always pray, seek Your guidance before I speak, answer, or minister.

God cover me, my home, my car, my work, my ministry, and every person tied to me (family and friends). Wherever I go, let Your favor go first before me. Let goodness and mercy always follow me. Every plan, plot, and weapon that the enemy of my soul has set up against me and Your plans for my life, God destroy those plans, plots, and weapons.

God, don't let me walk in doubt or fear. Let me take You at Your Word, trust You, and walk by faith. God remind me, You are always with me, there is no need to fear not. You have not given me the spirit of fear. You have blessed me with love, power, and a sound mind. God every day and for always do this for me and the writer of this prayer. Your request for prayer to be successful and to be rich with the things you want has been heard, and I want to answer you honestly and with love from the Scriptures.

The desire to have enough and to live without worry is understandable, but the Word of God teaches us to look more deeply at what true riches are. Neither wealth nor poverty is good or bad in itself, but it is how we use what we have that matters. Yet Scripture warns that wealth brings many impediments to a sober and godly life. It can become a thorn that bears no fruit, and even hinders the good fruit that was beginning to grow. It feeds unreasonable passions and pierces the soul, and it can become a broad and heavy burden that makes the narrow way that leads to the kingdom even harder to enter. For this reason the Lord said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, and He counseled the one who wanted to be perfect to sell what he had so that he might be free from slavery to it.

For this reason godliness with contentment is great gain, not when it possesses wealth, but when it has learned to live without it. We brought nothing into this world and we will take nothing out of it. Nature came naked and naked she will go out. What we call wealth here is often like a shadow or smoke or a flower of the grass that quickly fades, and it often falls to those who use it badly. The one who is truly poor is not the one who has nothing, but the one who desires many things. The one who is truly rich is not the one who has large possessions, but the one who stands in need of nothing because he has cast out the love of wealth and learned to despise it as nothing. When that desire is cast out, you are straightway rich in a better sense.

There is also a solemn warning. If a person sins much and does not repent, he treasures up wrath, and if he enjoys prosperity while continuing in sin without being corrected, that very prosperity becomes an addition to his punishment. Of all things in us the soul is chief. If the body is fattened while the soul is pining away, what profit is there. What shall a man give in exchange for his soul.

So I will not pray that God will make you rich with all the things you want, for that would be to ask Him to give you what might harm you and draw you away from Him. Instead I will pray for what is truly good for you.

I pray that God will give you godliness with contentment, which is great gain, and that He will teach you to use whatever you have as though you possessed it not, and to use this world without abusing it. I pray that He will guard your soul, which is your chief part, and give you a sober mind and a humble heart that seeks first His kingdom and His righteousness. I pray that He will provide for your true needs, deliver you from covetousness and from the love of money which drowns men in destruction, and set your hope on the enduring wealth that never deserts us, the heavenly riches that are more desirable than all earthly gain. I pray that you will come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and that in Him you will find that you have all you need, whether you have much or little, and that you will be made rich toward God.

May the Lord lead you to desire Him above all things, and to find in Him the success that remains forever.
