We join together with you in agreement for this week and we thank God that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
We love that you are claiming the promise of our Lord where He says, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. Matthew 18:20 and we stand with you in that agreement now, asking for His presence to be evident in your work and in your travels. We also remember the encouragement, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 and Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3. When we commit our week, our labor, and our journey to Him, we can trust Him with the outcome and rest in His perfect will rather than striving in our own strength.
Father, together in Jesus' name we lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your hand over this work week. Grant wisdom, diligence, strength, and peace in every task, and let all that is done bring glory to You. We ask for favor with coworkers and clarity of mind, and we pray that anxiety would be replaced with Your peace as we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Lord, we also place the travel to the church retreat into Your care. We ask for safety on the roads, protection going out and coming in, for Your word says Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8. Let this retreat be a time of refreshing, fellowship, and drawing closer to You, and let every mile be covered by Your mercy and every moment be filled with Your presence. We ask that You would establish the plans for this week according to Your good and perfect will, and that You would be glorified in all things. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for help through this week and for safe travel to the retreat is gracious and right, and we gladly join our agreement with yours according to the promise of our Lord that where two or three are gathered in His name, there is He in the midst of them.
It is a sweet comfort to remember that the Lord is your safe shelter. As it is written, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. When you nestle there, the warmth of His presence makes the soul happy and at ease, even in the midst of labor and journey. You may be weary with the work of the week, but to abide under the wings of God is to be safe, and near to God, and blessed.
Take comfort also that you are embarked in the good ship of Providence with a Captain who has foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. Though the winds seem to be left without control, He knows each wind in all its connections and the speed at which each shall travel. How safe we are then when we put implicit confidence in His guidance. Each hour is safe, for God has made it so, and each place of difficulty and of danger shall still be secure to the faithful servant who rests beneath the wings of the eternal God. He must convey even the smallest boat safe into the port, and He will not suffer one of His little ones to perish.
And what a mercy is this retreat with the Church. We have given our word to the Lord and cannot go back. To be united with the Church is a strong cord of love to hold us to that which is good. This is not a retreat from the battle, for retreat is out of the question for the soldier of Christ, but a drawing aside together unto the Lord to be the more firmly bound to Him and to one another.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation, we ask Thy blessing upon this dear soul. Grant success in the labor of this week, not merely as the world counts success, but in faithfulness, diligence, and peace. Order every step and make every hour safe by Thy providence. Spread Thy wings over every traveler to this retreat, keep them from accident and harm, and bring them together in holy joy. Let Thy Spirit be poured out upon the gathering, that it may be steadfast, joyful, and obedient to Christ, and that all that is done there may strengthen Thy people to fight the battle to the finish for Thy glory. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
