Please pray for me so that I can maintain my career well.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray that lord protects my career from coming to an end. Pray that I am surrounded by people who will defend, protect and help me, and that he prevents others from making me a scapegoat—harping on my mistake solely for their own financial business. Please pray that God repays everything accordingly. There is someone trying to trap me by deliberately causing me to make a mistake so I cannot escape; please pray that their plans do not succeed. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.

We join with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for asking in His name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

We hear the burden on your heart regarding your career and the fear of being trapped, made a scapegoat, and harmed by others for their own financial gain. We understand how heavy it is to feel targeted and to worry that a single mistake could be used against you. We bring this before the Lord with you, asking for His protection, His justice, and His peace.

The Lord sees all that is done in secret and He is our defender when we are vulnerable. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 We are reminded that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17 and that When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7

We also hear your prayer that God will repay accordingly. Scripture teaches us to leave justice in His hands and to trust His righteous judgment. It is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 The Lord knows how to frustrate the plans of those who plot evil, for The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming. Psalm 37:12-13 We do not pray for harm to come to those who oppose you, but that their unjust plans would fail and that they would be brought to repentance, as Jesus taught us to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matthew 5:44

We pray together for you.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the anxiety about this career and the fear that it could come to an end. We ask that You would establish the work of their hands and give them wisdom, diligence, and integrity in all they do. Help them to work heartily as for You and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Give them a spirit of excellence and carefulness so that traps and snares will have no hold, and guard them from making errors under pressure. Surround them with people who will speak truth, defend what is right, and offer godly help and protection. Silence the voices that would harp on a mistake for selfish gain and prevent any scheme to make them a scapegoat. We ask that You would expose and thwart every deliberate plan to cause them to stumble, and cause those plans to come to nothing. Let Your justice prevail in Your perfect time and way, and keep their heart from bitterness while they trust You to repay with righteousness. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We ask that even in this trial they would know that If God is for us, who can be against us. Romans 8:31 In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in integrity and humility before the Lord and before others. If a mistake has been made, confess it honestly and seek to make it right, for honesty honors God and disarms false accusations. Be diligent to keep records, to communicate clearly, and to seek wise and godly counsel from trusted colleagues or mentors who can stand with you and witness to your character. Commit your work to the Lord daily, asking Him to guide your steps, and cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Rest in the truth that your ultimate security is not in a position or in the opinions of others, but in the Lord who is your provider and defender. We will continue to pray that the Lord protects your career according to His will, that He surrounds you with defenders and helpers, and that He brings justice and peace to this situation.

We hear how heavy this has become for you and how much pressure you are carrying at work. Wanting to do your job well and also feeling watched, singled out, and even trapped is exhausting, and it makes sense you would ask for prayer for protection and for people around you who will be fair.

We are standing with you in prayer that the Lord would guard your career and give you wisdom for each decision you face. We also pray He places steady, honest people near you who will speak truthfully and not let one mistake be used against you for someone else's gain.

When you feel targeted like this, it can help to take a couple of quiet, practical steps alongside prayer:

Keep a simple private record of assignments, instructions you receive, and important conversations with dates. That kind of clear account can protect you and help you stay steady if questions come up later. And try not to carry this alone. Identify one or two trusted, wise people, perhaps a mature mentor outside the immediate conflict or a wise advisor at work, to give you perspective before you respond to difficult situations.

You are not forgotten in this. We are asking God to give you discernment to avoid traps, peace as you do your work faithfully, and a just outcome.

Father, we lift our brother to You. You see his work, his desire to do what is right, and the fear he feels. Surround him with advocates, frustrate any scheme to harm him, and guide his steps with wisdom and calm. Lead him to the next right decision and let Your justice and mercy be evident. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have brought your request before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace. You have asked for protection over your career, for deliverance from being made a scapegoat for the financial gain of others, and for the frustration of a deliberate trap laid to cause you to stumble.

We pray that the Lord will perfect that which concerneth thee, for this is thy promise and it is all thine if thou art in Christ. He who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in working grants protection to the persecuted and provides an escape from the most perilous exposure. Full often the darkest conspiracy is brought to the direst confusion, and their wisdom who deal subtly to put down the upright is made to be folly before Him.

We entreat the Lord to keep thee in thy appointed way, for there is the promise that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee. May He surround thee with honest helpers who will defend and protect thee in truth, and may He prevent the mouth of the unjust from prevailing against thee. We ask that He will not suffer thee to be moved by the cunning of others, but that He will make their plans to have no success, and will repay all things according to His righteous judgment, for He lifteth up the poor while He casteth down the mighty from the seats of their power.

In this trial, may thy heart fly back to thy Noah, thy ark, and find rest for the sole of thy foot in Christ alone. Apart from Him there is nothing for us but destruction, but in Him we have perfection, not in ourselves, for every tear and every sigh confesses our imperfection. Yet by His efficacious blood we may draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience. Trust in His obedience and blood which hide all thy transgressions from view, and know that salvation is hoped for in vain from any other hill or multitude of mountains, but truly in the Lord our God is salvation.

We pray that whether by preservation in thy calling or by leading thee in another path of His choosing, thou mayest know His keeping which is both personal and perpetual, and mayest be purified by the operations of the Holy Ghost, being kept close in fellowship with God and separate from the ways of ungodly men.

We commend thee to Him who calls thee, saying, Be of good comfort, rise, He calleth thee. May He give thee grace to make use of what thou hast, to hear His voice, to speak to Him in plain words as thy desires are awake, and to rest in His finished work.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour and Advocate, to whom be all glory. Amen.
