We join with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for asking in His name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We hear the burden on your heart regarding your career and the fear of being trapped, made a scapegoat, and harmed by others for their own financial gain. We understand how heavy it is to feel targeted and to worry that a single mistake could be used against you. We bring this before the Lord with you, asking for His protection, His justice, and His peace.
The Lord sees all that is done in secret and He is our defender when we are vulnerable. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 We are reminded that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17 and that When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7
We also hear your prayer that God will repay accordingly. Scripture teaches us to leave justice in His hands and to trust His righteous judgment. It is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 The Lord knows how to frustrate the plans of those who plot evil, for The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming. Psalm 37:12-13 We do not pray for harm to come to those who oppose you, but that their unjust plans would fail and that they would be brought to repentance, as Jesus taught us to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matthew 5:44
We pray together for you.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the anxiety about this career and the fear that it could come to an end. We ask that You would establish the work of their hands and give them wisdom, diligence, and integrity in all they do. Help them to work heartily as for You and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Give them a spirit of excellence and carefulness so that traps and snares will have no hold, and guard them from making errors under pressure. Surround them with people who will speak truth, defend what is right, and offer godly help and protection. Silence the voices that would harp on a mistake for selfish gain and prevent any scheme to make them a scapegoat. We ask that You would expose and thwart every deliberate plan to cause them to stumble, and cause those plans to come to nothing. Let Your justice prevail in Your perfect time and way, and keep their heart from bitterness while they trust You to repay with righteousness. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We ask that even in this trial they would know that If God is for us, who can be against us. Romans 8:31 In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in integrity and humility before the Lord and before others. If a mistake has been made, confess it honestly and seek to make it right, for honesty honors God and disarms false accusations. Be diligent to keep records, to communicate clearly, and to seek wise and godly counsel from trusted colleagues or mentors who can stand with you and witness to your character. Commit your work to the Lord daily, asking Him to guide your steps, and cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Rest in the truth that your ultimate security is not in a position or in the opinions of others, but in the Lord who is your provider and defender. We will continue to pray that the Lord protects your career according to His will, that He surrounds you with defenders and helpers, and that He brings justice and peace to this situation.
