We hear your fear and desperation, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your eyes and your heart to the Great Physician who sees all and heals all according to His will. The Bible tells us in Psalm 121:3-4, "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Even in this moment of uncertainty, know that the Lord is watching over you, never sleeping, never turning away. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are heard through the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is by His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is through faith in Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray together for your eyes:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is afraid and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You formed their eyes in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16), and You know every detail of their body. We ask that You would restore their eyesight, Lord, if it be Your will. Bring healing, comfort, and peace to their mind and spirit as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their healer (Exodus 15:26) and that Your grace is sufficient for them (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Father, we also pray against fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they trust in You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). If medical attention is needed, guide them to the right doctors and treatments, and give wisdom to those who are caring for them.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this situation. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to seek Him in this time of need. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Continue to seek Him through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can support and pray for you. If your eyes continue to trouble you, do not hesitate to seek medical advice, for the Lord often works through the hands of skilled physicians.
You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in faith, believing that He will see you through. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth and peace.
