Please pray for God to comfort me and my family. My mom passed away a few weeks before Christmas and I am grieving. Although she was ill and I thought I was prepared for her passing, I was not. She was a christian so I am confident she is now worshiping our Lord and Savior and that I will see her again. That brings comfort to me. I just miss her so much and sometimes it is unbearable. Praise the Lord for his mercy for I know my mom is no longer suffering.

You have promised to bring strength to the weary and weak. It is sometimes so hard on this journey, especially when we lose the ones we love. Lord in heaven, comfort your child and give her peace.  Allow her to be herself  in this situation and that  she can remember the good things.  The most important thing is your mom is in heaven.  You need to live so that God is glorified in your life and receive the promise of God that you will see her again.  People we love dearly, leave this physical realm called life, but the eternal, which is unseen is the important one. Live life so that you receive that promise and the 2 of you will be together forever.  Amen.
